Is it just the open Halifax accounts that are being transferred across or are the closed accounts being transfered across too?0

For the most part, yes. The only exception being during the final switch between 00:00 and 04:00 on the 12th, where online banking will not be available, along with a few other things over the weekend.
Edit: Might be worth mentioning that I'm sure I read something at work about faster payments not being available for some of the weekend.100% G33K:D:D:D:D

When I logged onto Halifax to transfer some money this morning, I had a message telling me that immediate payments wouldn't be available from Friday afternoon until Monday morning. I do hope that the migration of the system over to the LTSB one doesn't result in any c**k ups in the calculation of interest payments.
Just as a matter of interest, when I logged onto LTSB today, there was no similar message. Why isn't it affecting the LTSB side of the system if HBOS are migrating over to them?
