It's here at last, oh happy, happy day! Who would think one could get so excited over a household appliance?
Delivered this morning while I was at work. I will have plenty of opportunity to test it out over the weekend as I now have over 6 weeks backlog of mucky laundry to do
OH had got it going by the time I arrived home, and first impressions are very good - simple to use, looks nice, and it is very quiet indeed. I'll report further when I've had a play with it.

Do some short videos of it purring away, upload them to Youtube and link us to them please. I'm itching to see what all the fuss is about...

OK, feedback time. I was up until 2.30 am working through my skip load of washing and I've done 19 loads since yesterday afternoon - just a few more to go. It seems very robust and capacious. There's a bit of a knack to closing the door, but I soon got the hang of it. Lovely and quiet, even on the fast spin, and the house doesn't shake when it's spinning either! Washing has come out spotless on all cycles - and I've used most of them now, just the Cold & 95 degree ones to try out. I successfully used the delay timer to put another load on early this morning so that it was ready to go in the dryer when I got up. I'm impressed and very happy with my machine, it has met all my expectations and I just hope it will last for decades now, because I never want to wait 6 weeks for another one!

Thank you Newleaf for your feedback. I don't need a new machine yet but know that my Hotpoint has given me good service for quite a few years now so wont last forever. The ISE was neck and neck with the Miele for me (my d-i-l was lucky enough to get a Miele with a free 10 yr parts & labour warranty thrown in) but your feedback has put the ISE firmly at the top of my wish list.

    Great stuff!
  • Our hoover computer 1100 after 22 years faithful service is about to go. It is making enough noise to scare anyone:rolleyes: We are a family of 2 pensioners, would the ISE 5 do the job, how does it rate against the entry level miele

  • Having debated long and hard, followers of this thread will see that I let my head rule my heart in deciding whether to go for the Miele or ISE. Now we have had the Miele washing machine , dishwasher and tumble dryer for a few weeks I can say we are delighted with the features and performance. All those responding to "Which" voting them tops , in our opinion, are spot on. This is not to denigrate the ISE but we are satisfied we made the correct long term decision. So delighted were we, we also bought a vacuum cleaner too and this beats the Dyson for performance amd convenience.

I have been reading this post with interest as my washer is now on its last legs and I wouldn't buy another without researching beforehand. The ISE sounds brilliant, however my local dealer is 126 miles away in S!!!!horpe. Do you think this is a realistic distance?
Also as there is only two of us at home which model do you think would suit us? I will be grateful for any advice on this.

you can buy the ISE machines online from uk white goods......

and they will deliver and install them....

so i don't think you need a local dealer...
