I have just finished my tax return :j
I cant file online though as the login doesnt seem to work, rung them up and its a problem with my login details, so going to have to print off and post it special deliveryLois_Lane wrote:Hi Suggs - just looked this up on the SW website, and it would be 10.5 syns (not counting the vanilla). That sounds a lot when you consider the daily allowance is between 10 and 15 syns a day, however you could reduce that by 6 syns if you counted the milk as a Healthy Extra (if you were following SW!).
Is there a Starbucks in NP?
LL
Hi Lois, No Starbucks in NP, just the Picture House cafe
So a latte with skimmed milk is 10.5 syns!! WoW I am gobsmacked its quite scary really, heaven only knows what the full fat version isThanks for looking for me.
Off to eat some dinner, pepper stir fry for me, yes I know its late, I am sorry

Hiya all,
It's good to see so many good loses this week and after my erm "episode" with a mini asda luxury xmas cake and 3 matching chocs resulting in me playing catch up all week for damage limitation, I'm pleased to announce a 2lb loss much to my surprise. (my own scales said 1/2lb but WW says 2lb so alas although I have my doubts I will go by them.
I certainly learned a lesson, and so far so good it's day 3 of this week (weigh day sat) and I've managed to stick to my points on a daily basis with even a couple saved. My 2lb loss took me to under 15st, just mind you at 14st 13 1/2lbs for the first time in a long time and I'm now on 22pts a day.
Plan this week is to try and exercise more and so far so good, walked into uni today which is just over 3miles from my house and bought one of the trampettes from Sainsburys for £7.49 so going to have a go on this a couple of times a week for a giggle. If I think of it as exercise I maybe put off so a giggle will hopefully work, then again will it still be a giggle when my 3 teenage sons laugh there heads off at me on it?
Lastly can I just say welcome to all the newbies here and a heartfelt thank you to those of you (you know who you are) who gave me the kind words of support when I slipped and dipped into the xmas cake. I could and did do day one the following day forgetting about what had happened starting afresh without the usual guilt and defeatest attitude.
Thank you once again.0 -
hello me again :hello:
another good day today for memy jeans have been held up all week with a nappy pin after having them slide off me  i went on a rummage through my old clothes and found a pair i havent been able to get my fat ar*e in for agesss and they fit  :rotfl: wooohoooooo this healthy eating malarky really does work! i also found another pair of jeans in an even smaller size tried them on and can get the button done up but not the zip so its now my mission to get my rear into those jeans if i can do that i will be over the moon :j oh commented today that my love handlebars (as he calls them! ) are slowly dissappearing and he can see im losing :j hopefully soon i should be able to stand on my scales and weigh myself as im too heavy at the mo
at least then i will be able to report back as to how much i have lost each week. i have got quite abit to lose, i`d guess about 10 stone :embarasse _pale_ but im now in it for the long haul and have got my mind in the right frame of positive thinking to hopefully shift this excess once and for all!

katiepoppycat wrote:coriander, whats your sig? I'm really curious!! BTW, welcome and i hope you enjoy the thread, it's fun - that goes for retiredlady too. My day out was a disaster. Despite what the website says Bolton Castle is CLOSED in the winter. Wish I'd known that before we left Leeds! Still I consoled myself at the Wensleydale Creamery with the single nicest dessert I've ever had. I know I shouldn't linger on it, but I have to share - Wensleydale with ginger cheesecake. I asked for the recipe and was told - crumble up wendsleydale with ginger, beat with cream cheese and icing sugar, spread on a crushed ginger biscuit base. I synned it as a whole cheesecake but naughtily gave myseld a HEA for the cheese. COnsultant, will i burn in hell?!
