just thought i`d check in with you guys as im feeling really guilty at the moment
,i have been sooo hungry today
i ate my brekkie as normal but this was at about 6am this morn so by 10 am ish i was starvin again..i grabbed a bag of skips as they are quite low in calories for crisps and i was still hungry so after checking out the fridge i then ate what i had planned for my lunch at 10 which was a prepacked tuna salad
by about 2 i got the munchies again and ate again what i had meant for tea...soooo come tea time i started pinching oven chips that i was cooking for ds and put them in a pitta bread and scoffed the lot
... so im now sat here feeling terrible that i have let myself down today but this has been the first day since i started my healthy eating plan that it has all gone horribly wrong, i dont think i have eaten more than 2000 calories
but i had limited myself to 1500. oh well i`ll just have to try to get back on track tommorrow and forget it ever happened  ho hum the joys of dieting and trying to shift those pounds  it is a long long journey!
proper prior planning prevents !!!!!! poor performance!Only when the last tree has died and the last river been poisoned and the last fish been caught will we realise we cannot eat moneyquote from an american indian.0 -
Well I've just spent half an hour catching up with the posts - haven't been on for a few days and really should make the effort as it makes me feel much more positive. Had a really bad weekend and then couldn't get to the gym on Monday evening (WI at the gym) so don't know how I did - although probably better that I didn't find out!
Anyway, think I am back on track (again - don't think I've had a whole week where I've been good all the time!) and have been to the gym yesterday and today so feel good on that score.
Would like to join the 5lb challenge please - that'll take me to a stone since Christmas which will make me feel better, although there'll still be a few pounds to lose before I'll dare bare all in Oz at Easter.
Just done my menu planner for the next week and included a few treats. Hopefully if I allow myself some it will stop me going completely mad, although I will have to stay off the alcohol as that has been my downfall the last couple of weeks - too much to drink followed by eating whatever I can lay my hands on!
Roll on summer - find it much easier to resist the foods that aren't so good for me when it's sunny!Proud to be dealing with my debts0 -

HI all
Had my weigh in, starting weight for chart is 11st 5lbs
Going to do the 5lb challenge so should be down to 11st by beginning March.
Just having a small target will make me feel a lot better:D
Need to look on SW diets now to get some ideas for next week.
Do others find it better to plan a menu for the week or just choose each day?

Does anyone else want to take up the challenge to lose 5lbs by the end of February, as Honey is doing? The last update for the month will be on Monday 26th which is less than three weeks away, so it's probably a more realistic target for people to go for.

Hi Lois - Can you put me down for the challenge please. I like having a goal to work towards! Thanks for doing this for us all!:T :T

Thanks Lois.
Did anyone watch the BBC diet science programme again tonight? Thank goodness the "drink 2 litres of water a day" is a myth and was taken out of context from the original science data which stated that we need two litres a day, but added that - 'much of that will come from our food'. Drink when you are thrsty being the advice.
Also - eat tomatoes to help your skin - they ate tomato puree every day. Spinach at least once a week for your eyesight. Berries for your memory. Oh yes.......and detox diets don't work as they don't speed up the bodies ability to detox itself. So as someone else already said on this forum - eat a rainbow (different colours of friut and veg) to be healthy.
MissMPRENTING? Have you checked to see that your landlord has permission from their mortgage lender to rent the property? If not, you could be thrown out with very little notice.
