You are kidding right?? Tesco wouldn't take a 20p coupon. Things are desperate on their part. I'd have left your shopping in disgust!!! Then they could pay somebody to put it all back.
Will be Tescoing tonight. This will be after my visit to Iceland and Netto on the way home. I buy the cheap stuff at Iceland and Netto and use my coupons for stuff they haven't got, at Tesco's.
Good luck next time.

Seems I wasted money on the papers rather than saved by using the coupons as was the intention.
Some stores may not be quite so strict but apparetnly head office had sent written communication to all employees on some regular bulletin.

Will try the Times £1 coupon today with my last £4 DM one.0 -

I love coupons and am alway polite and cheerful with my Till Assistants, it does vary from one assistant to next, but sometimes you get a good one (and sometimes- more often than not- you dont). On the whole it works out well.
The H & B coupons and the Quit Kit ones have been the best. I need some blue clothing coupons to mix with the Quit kit ones (happy to swop if anyone is interested).Amazon Sellers Club Member Number 52
