Dusting done, henried all ground floor0 -
Afternoon all
Pooh and Serena hugs for both of you. Felt really bad when I went to bed as DS2 who is the most helpful and kind of the 3 who was the one who got the worst of the tongue lashing but he did then help. Worst of it is I know it's PMT driven but I can't stop, need to look into some changes in diet or get some sups etc.
Serena Happy holidays
Vanilla it sounds like PiL is being very supportive which is good news
I've been to the hygienist, yuck, yuck, yuck and got DS3 new trainers.
A couple of jobs to do on here and then my friend is coming over so flying will be later. The birds of sadness may fly overhead but don't let them nest in your hair0 -

Been to the new house again this morning for a demonstration with the builders, we now know where the important bits and bobs are, the next time we go to the house it will be ours
they are going round with a paintbrush to touch up this week and also having it fully cleaned (it has only ever been a showhome so isn't bad anyway but they have been doing it weekly until now). It will start clean and we won't have to do that when we move in, we just need to keep it that way. I will have rules on the oven, apart from that we are normally good. All important people have been told about the move apart from life insurance, mail redirection has been set up so now we just need to do our own insurances etc and finish packing. We have a rough timetable for this and that ends on Sunday night, we have a lot to do between now and then!

whew!
remember the TV I moved from the LR earlier in the week? The one which had been on the floor since January (when I bought a new-to-us one)? Well it is now wall-mounted - there was a thread in the Grabbits about *cheap* TV brackets from Amazon - well the TV bracket (virtually identical to the one I paid £29 for from the co-op for DS's room for the other new-to-us TV) came today, cost approx £8; delivery approx £8 *kerching* and Dad was around so he asked me to prep (which I did, including attaching the bits to the TV itself) and he screwed the backplate to the wall so job done. DVD rack also moved. We just need to dust in there now - I'm well pleased! Holes filled and painted over; DD's done another coat on the batten in the bathroom and I made a start on the ceiling!
The glossing she did looks very professional. Now what's the betting we HAVE to go to IKEA for something for her room :rotfl:Don't put it DOWN; put it AWAY"I would like more sisters, that the taking out of one, might not leave such stillness" Emily DickinsonJanice 1964-2016

Afternoon all
One small load of washing done and I did manage to get it dry outside.
Made a ginger cake, hoovered round downstairs.
Cat at the vets having had her eyeball scraped:eek: she has an ulcer which is refusing to heal up. DH picking her up after work, I dread to think how much that will be.0
