I have packing to do for tomorrow.
DS has to be at football for 10 then there is a presentation at 2 so I need to be there for then and then I'm picking my 2 nephews up on the way back so I could do with as much as possible doing by about 1.30.
I also need a birthday card for my brother and to wrap his present up.

    Morning folks

    Hugs all round.

Sorry for being MIA, but I chucked my toys out of my pram yesterday big time :o:o I know I live a very simple boring life compared to some of you, but it just got to me, I feel like a slave, who does all the cooking, washing up, cleaning, bed changing, washing, hanging out on the line, shopping, sorting out what everyone one will eat so I only have to cook one meal, putting out of the rubbish, cleaning of the cars, gardening, who is at work full time, whilst others are sitting around at home on holiday, watching telly or playing online type games etc etc etc

Where ARE the please and thanks yous, or the offeres even of help..............just a little help would go a long way.

Sorry as you were rant over.

Hugs Kaz - mine have been out of the pram this week too for the same reasons xx

Didn't do the ebay last night so I've started the day by doing the photos (we are only talking 4 items this week so no excuse).

Off to hygienist in a bit and I'll try for trainers in the other town with DS3 whilst I'm there and use their dump/recycling centre to get rid of some bits as it is easier than ours and will save petrol.

Flying aim today is to do the family room, just the cleaning not the sorting.

  • Good morning :D
Kaz - I know the feeling! Mine haven't been too bad this holiday, but I find it really difficult to get anything done when they are sitting in PJ's, on laptops (they are everywhere! :o) watching REALLY trashy telly (DD2 esp). It shouldn't effect me as much as it does!!
Cherry - Welcome!! Always room for one more :)

I managed to get some packing done yesterday. I have stripped my bed this morning and it is in tme WM. it is warm today, but cloudy, so I may hang it out. DS did well with his room yesterday - and it is all the better as he just decided to do it :D

    So, today's jobs:
    Dry bedding & remake bed
final load of washing - then laundry will be declared 'shut' :p
    continue packing
    walk dog
take Devil Child out for a walk/park
    vac downstairs
print off directions for holiday house, and anything we may need printed
pop in to neighbour, so she knows who needs feeding etc
    leave LR tidy
    leave kitchen clean/tidy
and anything else I haven't thought of yet!!

    Ok - breakfast now :)

Hi I have been missing again because of internet problems. I think I have sorted it, something to do with loose connections....

Despite not being on here I have a lovely shiny clean house. I am ruling with a rod of iron.

Kaz and DK I was like you too earlier this week, but I think they have got the point. I don't work but I am not their slave either.

Every time anyone puts something down I remove it:rotfl::rotfl:

When I was a teenager I hated the things my dad did. Now I am doing them. But mine are 52, 51, 25, 22, 21!!

One of my greatest 'hates' was my dad hiding on of my shoes. So if we left them in the hall he took one of every pair and hid them. It was terrible on school days when we had to get the bus, trying to find a missing shoe. And then explaining why we were late:o

I am just putting them all in the places they should be kept:rotfl:

DH is the only one who is tidy and always has been.

    Morning lovelies!

Welcome cherry and all other new flyers :hello:

Vanilla Continued thoughts for you, you're doing marvellously chick x

I've been busy :p clearing/sorting/flinging. Cleaned the kitchen benches and put the remnants of last nights shopping away as I was too tired last night. Cleared the LR of s*** loads of gibble where the hecky peck it all comes from I don't know.

Teenie let Lily in last night when I was in bed and came down to cat mud paw prints all over the floors and settees :rotfl: Busted! So will have to hoover and mop when I get in from work. Made my sarnie for work and emptied and reloaded the DW.

Work now till 2.30 then I'm off for a week, spent yesterday evening planning what were going to do. Hope the weather improves.

    *just whizzing through*

Supposed to be getting ready for holiday, as we leave tomorrow - can't wait!

I have been flying, but not necessarily to the list on here...

I have a longish list of things to do, so must get off the pc and get on with it.

dusty and kaz - must be the week for it, also overworked and unappreciated here. Have been yelling at the teens (one is in his 20's now - need a new collective noun to describe them, preferably not too rude...)

Love and hugs to all who need them today.
