Listy all finished, dragons in bedroom and spare room all dusted and sparkling;:D Ted's due to arrive at 15:30 tomorrow, so provided I can find enough spoons, I can try for progress on something on my Toots list tomorrow - which, I have to say, is as long as my arm and still growing.:(

Veggie bangers'n'mash for dins tonight; Mr LW prepped the spuds last night and left them in water (to save my poor hands):A so easy to do.;) I think I'll fry some toms to go with them, too.

Then we have the horrible task of colouring my hair; it stinks the bungalow out, so I've timed it to be "between dogs" iyswim.:D I do seriously wonder why I bother sometimes - but Mr LW is totally opposed to me cutting my hair at all, and I suspect waist-length silver hair wouldn't look so good!:rotfl:

The wallys made the wrong size glass for the boys room so they are boarded up for the night.. the girls rooms are both finished but they are coming back at sparrow fart oclock in the morning to do the bay and glaze the boys..

I misread this first time...I literally thought you meant they were glazing the boys! :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

****Have you sorted your home insurance??****

A while age I worked for an insurance broker specialising in home insurance so if you have any little questions please ask. But not too late as I'm up early for my interview

  • Good evening
i have just caught up on the thread, but not posted for a few days.
I got quite a bit done early yesterday (bins out, food bin washed, DW emptied, floor swept, rabbit & cat litter cleaned, dog poo picked up, vac'd up downstairs, 2 loads washed & dried). The boys (DS & little cousin) played with the lego ALL day! I took DD2 to the orthadontist & she now has a plate on the top, over her brace (it is character building to take the micky out of lisp, isn't it? :p) I also had a Polish lady visit me with her daughter (3 1/2). She was very complimentary of how lovely & tidy my house was! (that made DD2 snigger!) Thank you Flyladies!! :T I don't think I can help her though, as in the holidays it would mean I would have 4 under 5 for 4 hours 2 days a week :( It's a shame, because she was really nice, and loved it that I had animals.

Today I haven't done much :o (working all day, and still had 2 extra kids on top of that). I took my little cousins to my mums, went to Pets at Home (vacation fish food!). Managed to fill the DW (need to empty now :() - and that is it!! I have also solved the mystery of why Social Services said there was someone else at my address - they were looking at the correct street in the wrong area!! It happens all the time - we have even had delivery lorries turn up in the past!!
I have sorted the dogs holiday care out :j We are going away Saturday. I need to cancel the kennels, as the man who used to help with training has said he can board him. It will be in his home - and he won't be able to resist the challenge of doing some training aswell!!
    Ok - I need to:
    clean the bathroom
    start packing
    put on WM
Anyone up for a HHC at 6.10??

Thanks Bonnie - I've just spent the last 2 hours doing it but at least it's done now.

Going to have a bath now I think and then see if I manage to do anything later.

    WM loaded
    Started packing!! :j

    DD2 still not vac'd downstairs, despite being asked/reminded :(
DS tidying his room  without being asked!! He has even put some things in the bin!! :D i will leave him to it :)

OK - need to do more packing now - I may catch up on Corrie while I do it (or 'Enders - haven't decided)

I must keep the momentum going :)

Managed to load the DW this morning with the breakfast dishes so kitchen was nice and clean when I got back from work :D. Also wiped down the stairs this morning so they looked clean when I left, unfortunately the dust gathers quickly (and DS was in the house all day) so dust back there again tonight!

    Evening all

Vanilla you are doing so well to be carrying on and getting as much done as ever, I'm proud of you x
Ps how do you copy the list in colour - mine just is black and I have to colour it myself before i post...

I think it depends on which browser you use - when I used Internet Explorer it would simply copy and paste but with Chrome it doesn't.

Suffering big time with PMT at the moment, don't even want to be in the same room as myself. So don't want to go to the inlaws on Saturday for the night. I've snapped and bitten at the kids which I don't usually do so feel bad for that too. Still have have deep cleaned the living room.

Going to have a cuppa and list a couple of bits on ebay as I promised myself I would.
