May I request an update later on the 'fitness' of the builders. It's a weakness of mine...:D

Old beds have been took down and put in the big shed. New ones are getting there, if there's enough room tonight i might just sleep in the boys room until the plasterering is done, saves moving a big mattress every morning and night.

BIL and sister are up and BIL has finished the cattle for me and is gonna give me a hand to build all, so it will be up tonight..:D

I'm sorry for taking up so much of the thread this week and not taking in what everyone else is going through.

Don't be so silly - we all slide up and down the 'priority flylady' list as we need to if you get my drift...

re DS (and any other kids) they will not know just how accomodating oftheir dad you HAVE been. Now you have made the decision that enough is enough. He has not been able to commit to you and the children because his commitment has been elsewhere and that commitment has won and you have, quite rightly in my opinion, called a stop to the madness by removing him. The support of your inlaws will be paramount in the children seeing that the right decision has been made. He had his chances, he chose not to take them.

I've retrieved from the ironing mountain what I want to take on holiday so that definitely needs ironing and folded the rest of it up so it's a tiday mountain instead of a heap covering the settee in the conservatory.
Recycling bin retrieved from the front and brought to the back where it lives - it was only emptied on Tuesday.
    Recycling out
HR phoned - it would be so helpful if I knew how much redundancy money I'll be getting and when! I'm only employed for another 3 weeks!

Need to go and pick DD up in a min and go and fetch DH and DS's prescriptions.

Can someone please make sure I sort my home insurance out today!

Don't even think of apologising! Good grief, if we can't offer support when it's needed, what are we all here for?:o Do make sure you take any help SS can offer; and I hope things aren't any worse for the children than they have to be (if that makes sense); hang in there, my friend. (((HUG)))

I'm doing okay honey, the usual up and downs. More downs than ups at the moment. Probably hormones mucking around with my mood stabilisers..lol Trying not to isolate myself too much but I tend to not realise I am doing it, it just happens..lol How are you doing hon?
Thanks, I'm OK while I have canine guests.:D Though I realise I've spent the last week running on caffeine and adrenaline - flaked out til gone 11 when Mr LW left for work; while Louie was staying, I'd have had 2 caffeine tablets, a glass of Red Bull, taken him for a 45 minute walk and be on my 2nd mug of coffee by now!!:rotfl:Still, Ted will be arriving tomorrow afternoon, so that's good.;)

I know what you mean about people changing things with little/no notice - I'd be spitting neutrinos if that was me!

I'm sooooo not with-it this morning. First time for a week and a half I haven't taken caffeine tablets before getting up. *stumbles around like a demented zombie in search of today's list*:rotfl:

    Afternoon all

I read on here yesterday but I think I forgot to post - I did all the bedrooms yesterday, got the bedding washed and dried and cut the back grass. Today however, it is raining. One small load of washing on the airer and I've done the bathroom/toilet.

    Still thinking about you Vanilla.

And anybody else who is going through a difficult time.

Vanilla - valli puts it so well - I echo what she said. DS is used to you accommodating him. You have drawn a line in the sand and your main commitment is now to your kids. Valli is right about the support of your in-laws too. You are in my thoughts too....... and don't worry about filling up space on the thread - we are here for you!

Glad you enjoyed it Valli .......I want to go again - soon..
