Horse riding went well. Ds2 said it was "awesome", however he doesn't want to go again. So the search for his hobby continues.

Bay window & sill cleaned, towels washed & dried, swimming bag repacked. Mr M's once in a while shop done.

Got to do online grocery shop now or I will probably not get the slot we want.

I do seriously wonder why I bother sometimes - but Mr LW is totally opposed to me cutting my hair at all, and I suspect waist-length silver hair wouldn't look so good!:rotfl:

You know, it might be really marvellous: take a look at this:

  • Alright, thanks to a load of rain today, the extra non-locals trailing around (looking for somewhere else to rob) seemed to give up and scuttle back to their own areas. Still loads of sirens going off all day and night (yawn) and still not ready to remove garden implements from house.

    Did kitchen
    DW
    WM
    TD

    Splat tray

    Bathroom
Dyed Minion's hair red/purple *semi perm
    Swept
    Had bass lesson
    Put washing mountain away

    And -

    Drumroll

    Minion has cleared her floor!

    She has floor!

Admittedly, I had to stand in the doorway and bark orders at her - pick that up! Now those books! There's a sock right in front of you! - for a couple of hours, but eventually, it was done and the dust swept up.

AND she has put all her clothes away, having cleared one black bag of toys/rubbish and one for charity shop.

All that's needed to do now is for HER to mop the marks off the flooring, vacuum the rug, remake the bed and me to put up her new curtains. Then any redecorating can be considered properly.

I did look under her bed to see if there was a pod containing the original minion.... :)

Just got to crawl upstairs to put fresh linen on my bed - I have earned it! - and then I am going to try and get my first night's sleep since Saturday.
I could dream to wide extremes, I could do or die: I could yawn and be withdrawn and watch the world go by.

Thats how we tidy up in here too Jojo... do that.. now that.. you do that.. you do that... but the rubbish bag is MINE!!!! MWAHAHAHAHAAAAA ...

Rodents all in bed.. I am working on knocking DS3 down a peg or 3.. cheeky little snot thinks he is 22 when he is 12.. I will not be spoken to in such a manner and have warned him my hand is likely to slap him in the face if he speaks to me in such a vile manner again!

OH has been snarled at... I ended up having to fight missy wriggleknix into her pjs so he was snarled at that I might as well dress her seeing as I am already in that much pain a little more wont make any difference... so he stayed put... then in true stubborn ox style I carried her up to bed...

I hate feeling so $h!tty and useless.... I am also very very angry and upset and peed off with myself today too... and it is all my own fault...

Finally got rid of late OH TV - it wasn't as emotional as I thought. I ended up putting it on freecycle and a lovely couple came to collect it and really appreciated it, so that was a bit of relief tbh. Feel I have released the last thing which means I feel 100% ready to move on.

Man came round to take off old radiator in lounge, he's coming back next week to put the new one on.

    Today I have

    Put DW on
    Cleared the ironing:T (huuuuuuge frog)
Hoovered & dusted lounge and hallway.
    Swept kitchen floor.
About to sort cat litter tray & empty DW

Pigpen - you must have a large family to need 2 wm!

    Goodnight all x

Fantastic! I've done more than I thought! We've been having a 15 mins-type thing going on in DDs room, the garden and the shed and loads has gone in the bin! Looks like I've got a busy day tomorrow then, but I think I can get some of it done.

Have a great evening - I'm just off to unload the car...been working this evening and I'm knackered!

Hi all, I'm here, lurking and keeping up as much as I can.

Today our lovely hamster passed away, known to us as 'Fatty Arbuckle', or 'Fatty Bugati', or 'Chap' or 'Paddington' ? as DD1 called him??????

Anyway Mr F. Arbuckle Bugati is now residing in recycling heaven, so giving back on his journey to that great wheel in the sky.

I've ditched his food things and water bottle and emptied his cage.

DD1 has taken some things to help the guinea pig at her boyfriends, sawdust and suchlike.

I've hoovered his former area and cleared a space.
Myself and hubby relocated the chickens back into their run and they seem happier.
We cleared the path and swilled it with the hosepipe and disinfected the area....for such a relatively small area, there's a huge mess to clear up.

Tea made courtesy of my new toy http://www.argos.co.uk/static/Product/partNumber/4237185/Trail/searchtext%3EGRILL.htm

Also particpated in the wine glitch at Tesco's...https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/3414959 it really is quite good, so despite the sadness, not a bad MSE day.

Oh yeah, I've also been to work and other stuff.

Vanilla hun, all I can say is you are a star sweetie, keep on keeping on. xxxxxx
