    Morning all

Mumof5 I'm still waiting to hear about DS2. Wish I had lost weight over it. I have put on 2 stone.

Apart from trip to post office today will be staying in day so I have no excuse but to tick some stuff of the list. Now where to start?

Forgot to say my new meds are working :j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j

I slept through the night (for the two nights I have taken them) and feel much more human and able to do a bit more.

It is the first time in almost 8 years, and what a difference it makes. I may not be able to do more physically but I am 'on the ball' which is how the house has improved so much, with a little help from my men.

vanilla hugs and prayers for all of you. i am sorry but being without internet I didn't know what was going on and I have just read your post. I hope everything works out well for all of you.

Worktops cleared and cleaned, dw been loaded, wm loaded and kitchen table cleared and cleaned. The floor in here is awful but i've loads sitting about that need shifted before i can mop the floor.

Now i'm gonna tackle the livingroom, HHC there i think. Then i'll go into town and get all done when my sister arrives. :D

FIL has found someone else to do the plastering, he'll be cheaper but he's a hard worker and a friend of FILs. I think he's coming tonight to have a look at it. :D

Right HHC if anyone wants to join me? starting now

    Morning all

Checked the glossing that DD did yesterday - she has made an ACE job of it and I am now, officially, decorating supervisor - I'm gonna sign off her indentures as pass her off as no longer my apprentice! bet I get to sand and paint the bathroom ceiling though!

She get paid work starting today - she is minding a bunny and I'm rather chuffed because it's English (breed) and I have a soft spot for an English rabbit since I had my Pip as a young 'un (though we had to let him go as he was rather good at getting at our lady bunnies - you can guess the rest). The TV wall bracket has come (thanks to a link on here I found them VERY cheap on Amazon - even with delivery!) so DD will phone (and wheedle) Grandad - as Grandma has just told her, 'he won't say no to YOU' - (he's really a step grandad but DD adores him, always has and he her).
What else id happening - ooh I have walls to sand and someone's coming to look at the cycle carrier from the ad in Mr M! Kerching!

(I didn't actually let the the rabbit go - we passed him to my mum's cousin's cousin...)

All rubbish gathered up from livingroom and hall, both rooms been hoovered, sofa and chairs tidied, dirty washing brought up, second wardrobe moved to front hall for now. 3 kids away with PIL to see the cows, Rhys watch his cartoons.

I think i'll grab a cuppa and refillo the wm. Then i'll clean the fire out, oil it, set it up so when i need to all i have to do is light it and need to dust the livingroom.

    (kids just back)

    Hello all.

Triker sorry to hear about the wee hamster; always sad to have to see a pet go.:(

Kazw Mr LW always says that "Thank you" is a sadly neglected form of recompense!:o

CherryBerry welcome to the thread; I hope you'll like it here.:o

DecoGecko my friend was pleased to see her late husband's things going to people who would actually make use of them, rather than just sit in the cupboard doing nothing.:o

Vanilla (((HUG))) and more strength vibes for you.

I'm certain there were more things I wanted to say, but that's as much as my brain's retained today.;)

I'm glad I did the spare room yesterday, as I'm cream crackered today, probably as a result of doing my hair last night (the fumes can be a bit overpowering in a tiny bathroom).

Still, I no longer have a silver streak down the middle of my hair.:T It's a tad darker than usual; different brand of colour, but it was a freebie, so I'm not complaining.;) Mr LW did sterling work applying the colour for me, then pouring me a glass of Syrah and reading to me from the book we're currently reading ("The Calling" by David Gaider) while we waited for the colour to develop.:A

At least I shall look vaguely human for the photo with Ted later on (Ooh, must remember to chuck on some war paint). I should explain..... when the dogs arrive, the local agent for the company takes a pic of them with me (and Mr LW if he's here) and gives me a copy when she collects the dog, and also gives a copy to the owner - a sort of "holiday snap".:D I have quite a large collection of pics with various dogs - I really should get a little book to put them all in!:rotfl:

I also have to do a postcard - half from me, as the host, and the other half from the dog's point of view. The postcard is the hardest part of dog-sitting, I reckon!:rotfl:

Anyways, having waffled on about nothing, I must go and make the quiche I promised Mr LW I'd do for tonight's dins.;)
If your dog thinks you're the best, don't seek a second opinion.;)
