  • Good Morning Everyone:j

Another good day yesterday. I seem to be getting through my todo list. So very glad I joined in the thread - it's keeping me on track. :D
Glad that I didn't list a frog yesterday 'cos after 2 days of eating frogs I thought that I was getting indigestion. I'm eager to tackle another frog today.

Piggers - surgically remove OH from his laptop and tell I'm to shift the stuff

Dyson owners... I've just taken mine part and washed it (including bits that probably aren't meant to be washed). I've washed the washable filter (blue one in a yellow cage) but there is another permanent/lifetime heap filter. Any idea how this is cleaned or how often it should be replaced? Everything was filthy due to all the plaster dust etc... And the fact I didn't get round to cleaning it in January :o

    Morning all,

Another day of rain here and the two smaller girls woke each other up at 6 (both blaming each other) bigger two didnt surface until 10 (much more civilised time)

    So far I have -
    emptied DW
    loaded WM
put away all dried & ironed washing
lifted floordrobe onto the bed to sort out - mainly just washing to put away
    drank load of cuppas

Still have the kitchen to finish and then the bathrooms, might have a look at the cinema for later in the day doesnt look likely that it will be dry at all.

Pigpen - hope windows go in successfully and that it stays dry while they are working on them

greenbee - sorry never had a dyson I think lil_me has experience of them so she may be the one to check with

vanilla - good luck with your building

ok shower time, little ones dresses and then its cake baking.

Having a CBA day. Its p***ings down with rain. Hound walked. Lovely NOT.

2 builders coming today to quote for plastering/decorating of hall and kitchen. Then I can buy new flooring for kitchen. Hadn't realised how much damage DH did with the lead last night. Ah well. He's paying.

Don't think much flying going to be achieved today. I've gone into hibernation mode. Grrrr. BD knocking at the door.

  • HHC resulted in:
    * finding more rubbish in kids bedrooms
    * rescuing a 'glee' CD and a little soft toy frog (!!) from the rubbish
    * rubbish in dustbin
    * De-gibbled kitchen table - found pink memory stick (either mine or DD (14) - could be interesting when I check...)
    * Put a couple of things on washing line as nice & breezy
    * Took them back in as breeze dropped & rain came
    * Rain stopped, breeze back up but I'm NOT playing this silly game
    * Sorted clean laundry to go upstairs
    * Moved things from floor to chair (baby steps and all that...)
    * Opened seven BIG boxes from BestBrandsforLess
    * Put kettle on whilst I wonder where on earth I'm going to put all the stuff
    * Sure I did other useful things but can't remember :o
