BIL rushed to hospital last night, so just waiting on news of that today. And I have a headache that won't shift. Is it 5.30PM yet?

BIL is OK. It was an unintentional morphine overdose (prescribed for pain whilst waiting for an op). But, it wasn't a massive overdose, and they are now doing his op today, instead of end of September.

Silver lining and all, I guess.

Still not sure why they prescribed morphine to someone who is a suicide risk though.

    Thanks Kaz x

Went for some Frontline from the vets, £25.70  OMG!! Is that about right? They're taking the pith big time lol Anyway, I've done her but not sure how close to the skin I got cos I couldn't find it *rolls eyes* I have a freak cat :D

It's raining hard but thankfully no washing so it's all good. Gonna make another brew then sort the tea out.

    laters lovelies xx

ETA: Been ripped off big time, it's only £10.79 online. Well, at least I know for future purchases.

Try fiprospot.. it is exactly the same active ingredients as frontline and massively cheaper.. I got it from petmeds.co.uk

Thanks everyone, i had a peaceful night so feel better this morning. PIL rang first thing but i'd no news for them. Then KH rang and he wants to come home, he's been told no and i gave him the number for the doctor and told him it was up to him.

Good for you.. You stay strong and firm and let him do some of the work and take responsibility for himself for a change.

And you do as you are told? lol I dont think I could if I tried!

It is MORE important to name stuff in high school.. uniform is not compulsory at primary school... in high school you may have 2000 all with EXACTLY the same blazer.. if it isnt named you are either rich or insane! Mine lost stuff day 1 at high school had it not been named we would never have seen it again, we have also had games kits disappear which did turn up again evenually... 2 years later but in time to fit DD2. 2 fleeces a school coat and 3 jumpers all came back simply because I wrote their name in it... if they even thought to complain they woud be told when they are paying to replace the lost stuff then they can decide whether it is named or not.. as long as I pay it is my rules!.. I write names in before they are even given it! ;)

Unnamed uniform is the bane of teachers lives!

Your not wrong there, I couldnt get over what was sent to charity shops at the end of term as it wasnt named really nice coats, jumpers even shoes!!

I still havent finished yesterdays list as it went a bit pear shaped - DH was booked in for his MRI scan but having to lie down with his arms above his head for 30mins he found he couldnt stand afterwards so we had to go and collect him its the same this morning took him 2 hrs just to get out of bed and another hour to make it upstairs to the LR -the only place he is comfy is on his side with his head raised!! Hoping the results come through quick and they can book him in for whatever op is needed.

I have two for a sleepover tonight so will get the girls to tidy their bedrooms today so that will be something of the list and i will get to work on the kitchen.

vanilla - glad you managed a peaceful night heres for the same during the day.
  • Here's my list for today. Can't do bathroom till this afternoon/tomorrow as DH is sleeping after working last night and I have a physio appointment this afternoon.

Spoons all round for all those under the weather - you may need to dust before using as I see to be slightly behind with that owing to my decision to blitz one or two doom areas instead of dancing around with the feather duster.

Managed about half my dailies before the day job kicked in. Now trying to work out what to have for dinner when it will be a meal for one - and I won't be home until around 8.15 pm to start 'cooking'.

Vanilla - glad things were not as bad overnight as you feared.

embb - I'm afraid the reason why your Frontline was so expensive at the Vets is because they will have charged a dispensing fee as well as for the item itself. I do buy all my Frontline and Drontal on-line or at specialist Shows - I also find the vet tends to dispense only one or two treatments, rather than a full box. Oh, and if you buy on line, don't forget to use one of the cash back sites. :)
