Everything tidied away if not cleaned - hey, my house didn't become a mess in a day. ;)

Just about to deal with a frog or two on the PC - starting with some new robust dog tags - done the homework, just need to hit the keys and work out the words.

Vanilla, from reading what so many lovely folks on here have said, I think that KH needs to worry about not only contending with your and his family, but also all your wonderful Flylady friends. :T

    Evening all

Well not able to give blood as the waiting time was at least 2 hours  so i've made an appointment for a few weeks time.

    Since I've been home:

    Emptied DW
    Unpacked food shop
Cleaned fridge thoroughly and put in a small tub of bicarb to help stop the odours
Cleaned hob (not ventured into the oven yet!)
    Wiped down kitchen doors
    Hoovered lounge
    Worked out a meal plan

I'm not too worried about the estate now (i don't live there but some of my family do). I suppose i had hoped that he would have tried abit harder to win his family back. I love him to bits always have, i thought he loved me too but i guess i was wrong.

His parents have been ringing every couple of hours to see if there is any news but there's nothing i can tell them. It's really ruined there holiday but there glad i told them.

I know his ''friend'' will get bored now with no car and the money will run out very soon.
Sometimes it seems that the going is just too rough.
And things go wrong no matter what I do.
Now and then it seems that life is just too much.
But you've got the love I need to see me through.

It's further than I've been... I frightened myself getting so worn out by a short walk on Friday and Saturday and haven't left the house since. I MUST go out tomorrow. Mind you, all the local friend's who said they'd come over and keep me company, take me for walks etc seem to have gone very quiet. As has the person who was going to do the garden... And the person who asked for cleaning work now seems to be too busy... And there was me thinking there was a recession and people wanted jobs...
  • its the same with my cleaner greenbee, she decided after id said about the cleaner not doing what i asked for cause it didnt need doing in her opinion that im an ackward client and she's not going to clean for me anymore

i do have someone to do the garden though, well they've been once and done it, it remains to see if they come back or not. im hoping they do but its crazy its like they have so much work on that they can pick and choose what they want to do.

its pigpens roofer and plasterer all over again here trying to get a quote for some building work needing to be done, but they dont seem to get that yes its a relatively small job, but i want to see how they do on the smaller stuff before paying out for them to repoint the house next summer and then do a new roof and do the loft conversion in a couple of years time. they only want the big stuff round here and its driving me

just take yourself for a gentle walk round the garden or to your local corner shop, dont do loads, aim for half of what you think you can manage and thats more than enough for you to do and even doing half of what you think you can manage will be enough to wear you out, it takes time which is something your not used to having :p

I walked to the car.. the 30 yards to the childrens appointments were I spent 99% of the time sitting.. back to the car.. up the centre aisle of tesco pointing OH in the direction of what I wanted in the trolley.. with the trolley to lean on! then sat while OH paid.. :D .. then from the car to the house.. we were parked outside tescos doors so no walking to and from there!

I probably walked less than 200yards in total.. my feet now have elephantitis, my hips and back are broken and I cant even get comfy on my comfy sofa!

Oh.. and I had a nose bleed in the hospital!

I need the 3rd bit of guttering replacing.. KH bodged it and I noticed yesterday it is peeing water everywhere... inc. into my bathroom!!!!!

    Vanilla - checking in

tries to quote your post to add a reply it won't let me - you've made THE decision and you've made it for the right reasons. Sometimes we can't help those we love - we just have to let them go.
