That's something to look forward to then, Vanilla. Once you make these decisions the only way is up.

Flying wise I've three cakes in the oven (I'm sure that's not REAL flying), emptied DW, brought washing in, and am now about done with the dailies .......... except, despite me doing an early poo patrol there is now an awful lot needs doing - to the extent, where, even though the garden is fully enclosed I'm wondering if I've had a visitor, or whether I was just being blind earlier!
Vanilla - guess we've all had thoughts flying your way today. I have read your posts over the last few months - which is less time than many here, but time and time and time again I have been humbled by your patience, tolerance, ability to sort out messes, willingness to talk things through - I always thought I was reasonably tolerant, but you more than put me to shame. Going so far and trying so hard so many times must be making you hurt so hard now - there's Flyladies here who've known you so much longer, but I'm sure that new and old will be here for you whenever and whatever you have to deal with now, Keep care of yourself and your children, and try out a few of Toots' baby steps - this isn't going to magic into calm overnight, but there's plenty of us rooting for you - and if our thoughts help to give you the strength needed, we'll keep them coming. Just see if there's anyone who can be with you for a few hours, or a night or two - you're going to need someone around to offload on so you can give your children all the extra love and comfort you want them to have.
Time for me to go dive in the freezer - not too literally I hope - I suddenly have some cakes required for dog event on Saturday, so need to see if I can squeeze in a couple of sponges. And perhaps some tuna cake.Work is not my Hobby0 -
Vanilla - can you get the locks changed so he can't get in while you and the kids are out?0

Mrs_B thanks but i feel more like a mug now for wasting so much time on him.
Greenbee he has no keys, i'm worried he'll break a window or try and get the kids to open one or even come in through the roof. If i can just hold it all together then i can head to the beach house with the kids for the weekend, PIL were the ones to suggest it . I just don't want him getting into the house and destroying evenything i've done.
Just got a phone call to say that the bunk beds and 2 wardrobes are coming thursday.. I have no room for them as they weren't suppose to come until the 19th, so i think i'll have to spend a good part of tomorrow clearing the boys room out plus the silly plasterer hasn't even called yet about coming out so i can't move anything back into my room. :mad:Sometimes it seems that the going is just too rough. And things go wrong no matter what I do.Now and then it seems that life is just too much. But you've got the love I need to see me through.:j :j0 -
Sounds like you need to see a solicitor PDQ vanilla and get a restraining order to keep the kids safe s much as anything. I'm sure that there are plenty of people who can advise.0

No you're not - what you did and thought at the time was right -for you. You can't look back and think what if - you're looking forward now, and that's what is important.Remember, you haven't even reached the 24 hour point yet - I guess you've far too many things tizzing around in your brain. Think I might have made a new word up - but I like it.
I have room in my freezer - it took all of one minute, having procrastinated for about an hour! Need to work out what I can achieve in the next, erm two and a bit hours.Work is not my Hobby0
