  • Thank you for the post and here goes:

    Tuesday
    [STRIKE]Plan some meals/shopping list[/STRIKE]
    [STRIKE]Clean out fridge[/STRIKE]
[STRIKE]Pack non-essential items in prep for the move[/STRIKE]
    [STRIKE]Go on a cobweb hunt[/STRIKE]
[STRIKE]Dog-training - re-enforce the 'come' command and good behaviour around horses[/STRIKE]
    [STRIKE]Eat the next biggest/ugliest frog[/STRIKE]

Yesterday went well but I think that I've been a bit over enthusiastic about eating a big/ugly frog on a daily basis. I'll see how the week goes as the frogs may become digestible by the end of the week. If not, I'll probably break down the frogs into bite-size chunks and do them over a period of days, next week.

Pleased with Tiny's (the dog) training. His re-call has improved and he knows the command. Still introducing him to horses whilst on the lead. Not confident that he will be a good boy off-lead around them yet.

I'm pleased that I'm making more progress than I thought I would and looking forward to posting an update tomorrow.

Thanks everyone, i had a peaceful night so feel better this morning. PIL rang first thing but i'd no news for them. Then KH rang and he wants to come home, he's been told no and i gave him the number for the doctor and told him it was up to him.
Sometimes it seems that the going is just too rough.
And things go wrong no matter what I do.
Now and then it seems that life is just too much.
But you've got the love I need to see me through.

Max - try sending her cards or postcards. Every day or so just to remind her that you are thinking about her.

Excellent idea Greenbee - thanks :D

    Good morning everyone.

I've also heard from a good friend that her cancer has returned in the same place. She had a double mastectomy, so talk about unlucky. She's a plane journey away too so i can't exactly pop round. Her way of dealing with things is to isolate. She has no home phone, has deleted her FB account, so i just have her mobile which she isn't answering.
Short of getting on a plane, there is naff all I can do.
Maxonian, I'm so sorry; cutting off is the way some folks deal with stuff (I tend to do that myself); I agree with Greenbee a nice card in the post will show her that you care; hopefully when she's ready, she'll open up to communication again. (((HUG))) for you.

Good girl Vanilla. I'm glad you've managed to get a bit of rest. Keeping you and your littl'uns in my thoughts. (((HUG)))

*weeps quietly at all the unhappiness*

Louie's been collected to go home, so it's very quiet here. I no longer have an excuse to get the mobility buggy out and trundle round the field! Greenbee it's a shame we don't live close, you could come for a walk with me then!:D Assuming I had the courage, of course!:rotfl:

Still, I have a l-a-r-g-e list to get from Mr T this evening when Mr LW gets home; tomorrow night we need to colour my hair - once again I resemble a red-and-silver badger!

Then Friday afternoon Ted will be arriving, for 17 days!!:D I have to exercise him in the garden though, as he totally goes off on one if he sees another dog; I reckon he was probably attacked when he was living on the streets (he's a rescue case).

*Sigh* I suppose I'd better stop procrastinating and find the bathroom list; I rather regret not starting on it yesterday now; but then I'd have probably been in a stste of total collapse for "A"'s visit.
If your dog thinks you're the best, don't seek a second opinion.;)

    Morning

Max Sorry to hear about your friend. Postcard idea seems a good one. Hugs to you.
Rant warning feel free to ignore.
BD is knocking at the door again caused stupidly by me finding out my sisters kids are treated so differently to mine. I have found out my father has taken my niece here there and everywhere and it makes me sick. My kids get taken no where and I had to beg when I was ill to ask for a lift to dentist with DS2. Also my sister is the favourite of the moment after doing sod all for them for 12 years.

Sinks are sparkling including plugholes. 2x wm done.
