Is it me or does every episode follow the same procedure?

They always find someone who is Just like the uncover boss, who wants to advance up the career path, this person is usually very pretty/good looking .... and everyone the boss meets is super efficient and hard working etc. It just doesnt happen like its dipicted in this show.

Although the rewards that are offered are not as generous as I would expect for such big companies even in these austre times.

    TP

I have actually wondered if they actually follow through and give the employees what they have promised, and they have never given anyone a job but have always said I think you would be good for the role.

I would like to see a where are they now
It's better to regret something I did do than to regret something that I didn’t. :EasterBun

Work placements are no longer a Mandatory requirement. Entirely voluntary on the Work Programme, I am lead to believe????
i am not saying you are wrong because i dont know for sure but i do find it hard to believe that they will allow people to not do any work placements for the whole 2 years. even if the rules dont say they can force people, i bet they do their best to make people feel like they should do a placement.

Whoever came up with the name poundland had no vision of the future. Did they think that things could cost a pound for ever? They should have called cheapoworld or something then they could at least have put the prices up.

Ok just had a quick flick around the net and apparently he posed as an unemployed person on a work placement and dressed scruffily to boot so he made sure he pandered to the stereotype of an unemployed person.
The only way to get to the truth of the way companies operate is to do the filming secretly.
Now if they got a REAL unemployed person to film their work placement with a hidden camera that would make for a VERY interesting programme as well as more truthful.
i know someone who did a placement in poundland. one day while he was working the paid staff were sat in the office drinking cups of tea all day. he did question why then at the end of the day one of them said well done you have earned your pound for today. he did not go back there again. the provider was ok with it and accepted his reasons why.
