  • Does anyone know for definite how much it is in store at Gamestation? I can't find anything on the net where I can access from my work confirming the price and can't phone them from my work either to check the price. Will save me some time at lunch time heading round - won't go there if it's more than £44.99 but can't seem to find concrete evidence for how much it is from my work!

I thought the Tesco Entertainment deal with MW3 + 2100 MS Points or PSN equivolent was the better deal as you can sell the points for the almost
their full retail price on eBay if you didn't need them.
Absolutely £25 for game and £16.99 for 2100 points so you're only spending £41.99 in total.
  • I agree that is the best deal on paper, however the deal I'm going for involves the spending of actual cash (which would be none if I go to Gamestation due to store credit)

So if it is £44.99 or less in store at Gamestation then it will cost me nothing just now hence the reason I'm looking for confirmation.

But Tesco is by far the best deal for the game. I just happen to have a way of getting it without parting with any cash today and looking at other options - I wouldn't get a game like this from a place like that if I had to hand over money for it.

Ive been hunting for a long time and ive written down all the offers I could find. A total of 30 offers give or take.

The best deal is the Tesco £25 plus 2100 MS points for £16.99

Since you know there will be a map pack released 2-3 minute (j/k but 2 month is a realistic guess) after the game is you can spend those points on that.

i disagree because you have to spend £58 to get it. its only good if you plan to spend £30 on shopping anyway.

got mine from asda last night. got there around 11.50pm and was served at 12.25am. the queue was about 2 thirds the length of the upstairs area when i got there. today i noticed in the small asda in the town they had a sign up saying it was available at the tills. so unless they are stupid they must still have some left.
  • I can easily spend £30 at sainsburys, think i might go for that one....

1 Litre of Jack Daniels are currently £20 instead of £31, which is a good deal. 2 bottles of JD got me the reduced MW3 price

    Opinions on the game itself.

    Good but not a masterpiece.

what i like about the about the multiplayer.
    • Great new guns
    • great sounding guns
    • good idea to include different kill streaks for different play
    • smooth graphics
    • lot of customization

however i am niggled by a few little things that have been neglected.
    • All player except yourself now seem to walk around complety silent.
    • poor spawing
    • Maps are too big
    • maps encourage camping.
    • WHY OH WHY can you no longer have a rifle and a Shotgun . Shotguns are secondary weapons NOT prime weapons.
    • No Hardcore Headquarters.

That is my 2 cents. on few hours of play this is no great leap forward over MW2. I will keep playing but i think MW2 is the better multiplayer game by a nose.I won't be buying next years game.
Better in my pocket than theirs :rotfl:
