I ordered from Asda Direct at £31.20 witha code of Hot UK Deals. They took the money on 1st Nov, it was supposed to be delivered by courier yesterday, the order status was despatched.
Nothing at 5.30, rang Asda, they assured me that delivery was up until 7pm and to call back at 7.15pm. No delivery, was on hold at Asdas from 7.10 until 7.55pm.
    :-(
What can I do? I have a son who wanted to play it last night with his mates and its cheaper if I get £30 worth of shopping from Sainsburys. Dont know if it will turn up today and so cant buy it!

Buy it from Sainsburys then return the one to Asda under the Distance Selling Regulations when it turns up?

    From the Asda website:

    http://direct.asda.com/M116_EDITORIAL_CONTENT_RETURNING_YOUR_ORDER/M116_EDITORIAL_CONTENT_RETURNING_YOUR_ORDER,default,pg.html

" Up to 7 days following the day of delivery Under the distance selling regulations you have 7 days to cancel your order starting the day after the date of delivery. You must cancel your order in writing, by email or telephone. You will be responsible for the cost of returning the goods and you must take good care of the goods whilst they are in your possession. If you do not exercise reasonable care and the goods are damaged whilst in your possession or in transit we will not be able to accept the goods."

that applies to all cod games. that is why it wasnt long before i stopped playing them online. you just get sniped all the time. so you need to be brilliant to get anything out of the multiplayer. the only games i have enjoyed online are halo 3 and killzone 2.
  • Saw it in an M&S petrol station for £45... terrible how those POS displays make you buy things you otherwise wouldn't :D

    Opinions on the game itself.

    Good but not a masterpiece.

what i like about the about the multiplayer.
    • Great new guns
    • great sounding guns
    • good idea to include different kill streaks for different play
    • smooth graphics
    • lot of customization

however i am niggled by a few little things that have been neglected.
    • All player except yourself now seem to walk around complety silent.
    • poor spawing
    • Maps are too big
    • maps encourage camping.
    • WHY OH WHY can you no longer have a rifle and a Shotgun . Shotguns are secondary weapons NOT prime weapons.
    • No Hardcore Headquarters.

That is my 2 cents. on few hours of play this is no great leap forward over MW2. I will keep playing but i think MW2 is the better multiplayer game by a nose.I won't be buying next years game.

I agree on some points, i think its good but its no real improvement on mw2. They spent 2 years on this and this is what they came up with and i dont think its worth the rrp though. Ill have to think about buying next years offering and maybe see what battlefield is like.

Ive not played all the mp maps yet but is there a small map for CQB. I dont think the maps are too big but like i say ive not played all of them yet.

poor spawing This is just as bad as black ops and mw2. I have honestly been spawned into the group of opposite players no end of times.
    Maps are too big
    maps encourage camping.
WHY OH WHY can you no longer have a rifle and a Shotgun . Shotguns are secondary weapons NOT prime weapons. Use Perk 2 Overkill. Carry two prime weapons?
No Hardcore Headquarters. True, but you never know they might put it in, they have in the past added game types in.

All in all its ok , i think its more of a Modern Warfare 2.5 like a big upgrade pack. I noticed alot of the maps a quite "open" which is very annoying when there are helicopters and planes etc. as you just end up getting spawned and killed a numerous amount of times.

I feel like they should of implemented that when you spawn you spawn into a box that neither you can shoot out of or be shot in, when you move out of it, it dissappers.
