Latest response:Dear XXX,
Thank you for your response. I apologise that my comments are unclear we can cancel and order and offer the item at the correct price, however the order has been cancelled on this occasion as the item has been discontinued from our site due to the pricing error, so we were unable to offer the option to purchase the TV at the correct cost, and hence this is the reason as to why the order you have placed has been cancelled and refunded in full.
Kind Regards,
XXX

and my latest reply:The tv in question was available on your website yesterday, it was showing a price of £329 and 300 in stock. You have now taken the item off your website but it was definitely available to buy.
Again term 2.3 reads:
" If an error is found, the Supplier will inform you as soon as possible and offer you the option of reconfirming your order at the correct price, or cancelling your order."
as I was not offered either of these things, under what term did you cancel my order.
Sorry for asking the same question again, but I cannot see anything in your terms and conditions that allows you to cancel and order because of a mis-price.
As long as there are flaws in their answer i don't mind asking questions :-)0 -
I just got a reply to my enote last night. Not sure how you got that message ELMER RUSK. I certainly don't look like they are backing down for me.
Thank you for your contact with our support team.
Firstly I would like to offer our sincere apologies for any annoyance or frustration this unfortunate matter has caused.
Whilst we do appreciate our customers requiring this product at the lower incorrect price, unfortunately this price was advertised due to a system error, causing the cost to show on our site significantly lower than the actual correct price.
The item has been discontinued from our site due to this error, so we were unable to offer the option to purchase the TV at the correct cost, and hence this is the reason as to why the order you have placed has been cancelled and refunded in full.
Once again we do offer our unreserved apologies for the aggravation this matter has caused.
Kind Regards,

Anyone got a response from Watchdog yet?0
-
i have emailed them, got the same reply as others.
I have contacted Watchdog, but to be totally honest, i think were flogging a dead horse with this one.
Its so similar to the tesco/gamecube caper.
They honoured the orders in good faith ( even tho they were on a sticky wicket) and didnt want to tarnish their name, Ebuyer, on the other hand couldnt give a toss about anything.
So a few hundred people wont get a tv at £28, it wont deter others who heard nothing of it from buying from them, and chances are, in time, the ones who didnt get a tv at £28 will buy somthing from them in the future anyway.
Is anyone really prepared to go all the way with it!
There is too many other things in life to get wrapped up in this.
We tried, it didnt happen, oh well.0
