well one option would bve get a group together to pay for some action. Must have been a few thousand TV's ordered at least, so if everyone stuck £3 in the pot that would cover any legal action0

where did people open their eNotes? (from the catagory's listed)0

"Every effort is made to ensure that prices shown on the Supplier's website are accurate at the time you place your order."
I'd love to challenge that in court...
'So what effort, if any, did you make to ensure the price was correct? '0 -
Ebuyer have a bad reputation to uphold consumer law, so we will have a fight on our hands.
I wonder if Ebuyer make EVERY effort to ensure prices are shown that they don't show the same in regards to be in touch with customers should things go wrong.iyiarz wrote:"Every effort is made to ensure that prices shown on the Supplier's website are accurate at the time you place your order."

I think quality control went something like this.
Nigel and Mike at ebuyer qc center
Nigel: Hey Mike look at this 28" screen for £28 that can't be right! should we pull it?
Mike: Nah f**k em they docked me fifteen minutes last week for having a fag!
Lets see how stressed they get before they wan't a fag!Four guns yet only one trigger prepare for a volley.Together we can make a difference.0 -
Surely it does not have to be a class action - simply file a claim in the Small Claims Court - a very simple procedure. Produce your screenshots, confirmation of that a payment was taken plus ebuyers T & Cs. Afterall the one quoted in the cancellation email actually conflicts with 2.1.
Small Claims Courts are fairly informal and are designed so both parties represent themselves. Solicitors costs are not awarded so can you imagine it e buyer having to defend all these little cases all over the country and the cost of having someone to represent themselves would cost more than the price of the tellie.0 -

I agree on the face of it small claims does seem to be the way to go as it's very likely that tv's will turn up for those that actually file a claim rather than the cost of defending it if they just sent a simple line supervisor to fight each case it would cost more than the set never mind a legal rep.Four guns yet only one trigger prepare for a volley.Together we can make a difference.0 -
Besides could you imagine the scene with busloads of Bailiffs turning up at their depot to sieze goods! It would make Wapping look like a day at the seaside!Four guns yet only one trigger prepare for a volley.Together we can make a difference.0

In fact I'm rather thinking about registering as a bailiff myself and paying myself to collect my goods !Four guns yet only one trigger prepare for a volley.Together we can make a difference.0
