Depends what they've married it to.
In our house the toilet pan was not matched correctly to the trendy high cistern the previous owners decided to install. The result is that anyone who fails to lower the lid pre-flush, may have their shoes washed free of charge.0 -

a pizza oven in the garden? Very interesting.
They may be Italian vegans who feel it's more use than a barbie.
I prefer to see it as the Three Little Pigs' house of bricks.0 -

Doesnt look like the vendor realises the agent has pulled a flanker with that garden photo - in order to save himself having trips to the house that would be wasted (eg because the viewer is a non car-owner themselves and therefore won't put up with traffic noise).0 -

That one is a real shame because it looks like a reasonable house. The wonky doors are largely irrelevant. If the purchaser wanted to keep them they are easily fixed.
No the real sadness is the proximity of the motorway - it makes the house virtually unsaleable. At the very least it has a serious impact on it's value. The noise levels must be horrendous.
Shame because apart from that it would make a nice family home.0 -
For some, the proximity to the motorway could be a positive benefit. Noise? That's where double-glazing comes in useful. The Scandinavians go in for triple-glazing. In such a house I'd go for it, too0

yes nice to be near the motorway for travelling the house just needs a little updating.
Make £200 by end of January... £20.42/£200
Grocery Challenge £200 pm Jan £0/£200
January no spend days - 1/310 -

No amount of glazing will get rid of noise on a summer's day when you want the windows open (especially at night) I live on a moderatly busy urban road and traffic noise keeps me awake even with windows closed
Missing kitchen door isn't missing - it's a 'designer feature' of pull out wicker baskets. However, there are mis matched handles/knobs, but surely that's not a deal breaker - unlike the wooden ceiling in the reception room..Please forgive me if my comments seem abrupt or my questions have obvious answers, I have a mental health condition which affects my ability to see things as others might.0 -
Have just been sharing this little gem with my work colleagues, every photo is a delight, but it's picture 3 that i'm particularly fond of ... it's just a shame Elvis isn't in focus!
