We absolutely love the Tart Deco period and did our best to recreate a real feel for the Tart Deco era - perhaps we should have left our chandelier behind - but we love it so much we couldn't bear to part with it, we think it looks lovely in our new house, which I must admit is a "magnolia" for us.
Would that be a fin de siecle bordello design style ?
Somehow I don't associate Morano type chandeliers, with images of modernist cinemas and power stations

I was surprised that the bathroom style is quite restrained.0 -

Well, Tart Deco is unique style I have to admit, and not everyone's taste.
Fin de siecle bordello could sum up the look - although we really were trying for something a little bit later.....but with the opulence and decadence that could be associated with fin de siecle.
Tarts Boudoir might just sum it up.0 -
I refer you to posting 6627.
[Someone thinks that Tart Deco is their property. Presumably this in not you because you are failing to protect your rights.
In my opinion it is far too generic and ill defined to be legally enforceable.
But who knows they are slightly mad over in USA - to quote Samsung only Apple can invent a screen with rounded corners]

It's been quite a year for the union flag, hasn't it?0 -
I've been lurking on this thread for a while and loving the houses.
I think I've got a good contender.
We actually went to view this house and the photos dont do it justice. Every room has at least 2 walls full of mirrored tiles and the ceilings are all a metallic gold or silver too. The kitchen photo is basically the actual size of the kitchen too.
HERE
And from the description "THE PROPERTY IS NOW DUE FOR SOME UPDATING" must be the understatement of all time.
My parents used to have that colour bathroom - 40 years ago.0 -

Now I'm pretty good at "seeing past" clutter/colour scheme/etc - but even I am struggling with that one. Errrr...I "think" its probably a nice house and how fast could I reach for the magnolia paint?:rotfl:0 -

Well if it was in Littleham, where the map takes you, it might be of interest to many people, because that's a desirable location. However it's not. It's actually about 3 miles from there, in the middle of nowhere:

What a strange shape bedroom, especially for a modern property:
