"Queen Anne front Sally Anne back".

Why has the trend to minimalist bathrooms happened ? Because in trendy London they are stuffing bathrooms into the cupboard under the stairs? I still enjoy my 1970s "fitted" bathroom complete with washing machine and dryer in its own alcove and lots of storage space, for washing powders, the normal toiletries, including a jumbo pack of bog roll plus a years supply of wine.
Now we are treated to some expensive stone tiles, fitted by someone who was scared of cutting them and a minimalist bathroom with some cupboard space tucked in afterwards?

No details of the heating system.
Probably lousy energy performance rating due to solid stone  walls and exposed beams in the loft. (at least it is mid terrace in a world where urban dwellers are going to be forced increasingly to make do with flats.)

No scope for PV panels - and so possibly subject to future carbon tax attacks, when it becomes 100% obvious that the climate is deteriorating due to greenhouse emissions.

(I have recently sold a house of the same age, the "recent" flood protection works has resulted in a property make over boom and one of its neighbours has appeared on a property !!!!!! show in its renovated condition)

Shame about the building site next door- but-one. The view into the housing estate on the North side of the road jars a bit with the historic quality of the stone house; but we cannot all live in a conservation area Disney park.

Limited permitted development rights of a terrace house have been used.
Shame that next door on the West side could not be bothered to match up the bricks when building their upstairs rear extension.

That said it is Location Location Location that counts and I know nothing about the location at a micro level.

Wow you're taking this V seriously!

I wonder which end your head is supposed to go? At the narrow end you've got room to spread your feet, and you can have a conversation with the person on the toilet; at the wide end, you can lounge back and use the toilet seat as a drinks coaster.

Wish there was a like button!

I love the address names, too.

    It's great isn't it!

I grew up in a village not far from here called stairfoot!

Has anybody ever seen their own house on this thread?

No thank goodness...my house has been on the market since August so there has been some time....especially as I have twigs in a vase

But I successfully sold my late Dad's one bedroom flat with twigs in a vase so I wanted to carry on their good karma. And it must have worked as we had a very near to AP offer, and hope to exchange next week (is there a fingers crossed smiley?)
