An 8 bedroom Scottish castle that is falling apart. Photos look very sad

Backstory - it was purchased a few years ago for £620k by a lady who won £148 million on the EuroMillions lottery - she had grand plans to do it up but it has fallen into disrepair and is now on sale for just £350k
What a shame, it could be incredible. I hope someone gives it the love and attention (and cash!) it needs.0 -

The vendor has some older furniture and the interior is a bit of a mix, but that's probably the case for many people old enough to work up to a house in that category. You inherit stuff. You remember the old days when 70s estates were new.
Best of all, when some of us have toiled many years to reach that stage, we have whatever we like, because we don't really care that much what others think any more!0 -

Just wait until you see the satellite views.... A breaker's yard next door, and most of the properties seem to have a back yard mechanic in residence. Then there is the moto-cross course within earshot. Sure, easy access to the M1 if you need to make a fast getaway. Her courage will change the world.
Treasure the moments that you have. Savour them for as long as you can for they will never come back again.0 -
