https://www.rightmove.co.uk/property-for-sale/property-83636453.htmlThe property has been occupied by an elderly person in recent times and some modernisation can be carried out to individual taste and requirements.
Like removing the avocado bath tidy.
Chwarae teg for still playing the electric guitar at their age, though.A kind word lasts a minute, a skelped erse is sair for a day.0 -

Sea glimpse ... glimpse of Ballard Down ... view over the rooftops to the Purbeck Hills ... sea glimpse
No mention of the kitchen extractor duct.
Yes, I think he is pretty relaxed about nobody buying his home in a hurry0 -

That layout is awful!
Upstairs bedroom has to go all the way downstairs, through the dining area & lounge, to get to the main bathroom.
Access to the back garden is not pleasant.
Whoever's had that place has done too much to it, nearby property sold for £238k in May0 -

Somebody's got a nerve. This utter wreck is on at a million quid:
https://www.rightmove.co.uk/property-for-sale/property-71239246.html
Yet it was last offered in January 2018 at £930,000
https://www.zoopla.co.uk/property-history/42-tollington-road/london/n7-6pg/46225825
And only finally sold in March this year at £890,000:
https://www.zoopla.co.uk/property/42-tollington-road/london/n7-6pg/15118941
So it looks to me like someone came along and paid £890,000 for a wreck that had taken a year not to sell. The lucky buyer has now worked out that even if refurbished, it won't sell for more than it's going to cost. So back on the market it goes - at a price 12% higher than 5 months ago.
That place will have cost £951,200 including stamp duty but not including other transaction costs. The vendor obviously figures the house owes him £960k, so he's put it on at a million quid expecting to offload it at a bargain £980k and get all the money back.
GLWT, as the young people say. If this buyer couldn't do it up and flip it for a profit at £890k who's going to pay him £100k more than that??0 -

Aah, but it’s a well known fact that having an NW postcode means that deluded buyers don’t think twice about spending a fortune on a wreck on a busy A road.
I wonder how long it will take for the vendor to find some coffee to smell when he (or she) wakes up?0
