It was confusing me as well and I wondered if it was supposed to be "bedroom 3".

Actually - I am not averse to the painting on outside of house - ie its quirky.

But that bathroom - I DO seriously hate so-called "wet rooms". At least I've learnt by now they never are "wet rooms" - as they are actually "disabled bathrooms" being called that.

I'm not keen on wetrooms, but we actually have one in our new home and it's very modern and not at all 'disabled bathroom' like. It's just like a shower room with no shower screen, just shower curtains on a rail and the floor's tanked. We're renting the house out at the moment. I decided to remove the original German shower curtains we inherited when I tried to find some spare replacements on t'internet, and they were listed at nearly £500 for a pair..... Put a pair of £10 B&Q ones in for the tenants.

We'll probably convert it back to a bathroom if we can get an ensuite in elsewhere.

Maybe I'm just old fashioned and miserable, but I hate stuff like that! If I was the vendor I'd be straight on the phone to the EA to tell them to remove it! There are 3/4 photo's throughout that ad which are pointless, and add no value, other than some misguided attempt at being 'trendy'.

Like I said, maybe I'm just miserable. I'll get off my soap box now!!

...and I was just looking at the house thinking "Do wish houses in some areas were more modern. in the way they've been done....."

Well, someone's trying to add value....the easy way. It seems vastly overpriced, considering the 1970s sapele doors, the cheap looking kitchen units (what one can see of them) and the anagypta wallpaper.

Were the bedrooms so hideous that the agent wouldn't photograph them?

When we bought our house it had 2 full bathrooms. We had the downstairs one converted into a wet room. Like yours it is tanked with the floor shaped to direct the water into a drain.

Just wondered what people think about this, my sisters just about to exchange on it. Personally I love the place.

That utility room is .97m wide - how on earth do you get the fridge/freezer at the end out without wrecking the room? And how do you get the washer out from under the worktop?

Lift it on it's side over the worktop. Same with the washer, just slide it towards the fridge first.
