Santa might get stuck but that would only be once a year. I'd be far more concerned about day to day stuff. I once had a friend whose room had unplastered walls, every single brick (or technically I suppose the cement that stuck them together) collected dust. I find dusting normal stuff enough of a chore, who in their right minds would have walls that need dusting?

Bare brick/stone walls is a fashion I never understood/liked at the time. So - now that it's also old-fashioned = I was mentally flattening that chimney wall and plastering over it the second I spotted it anyway.

The house could be nice completely modernised and with a bit of knocking-down of walls to have a more modern size (ie big) kitchen.

Bare brick/ stone walls are back in fashion, but without the shiny glaze.

Well I'm only a simple male, but it seems to me that there's a certain amount of dust in a house, and if one knows exactly where it's collected, then capturing it is much easier than if it's running around 'loose.' :)

Much so-called 'dusting' is just moving the stuff around to where it's not so noticeable....or so I've heard. I admit, I haven't had the urge to test that.

'Simple male', oh dear, oh dear, oh dear. Perhaps Davesnave and Quentin Crisp have more in common than initially meets the eye.

Oh undoubtedly. It's well known around here that I dress up in women's clothes in January/February time and behave like a complete prat.

Mind you, the Panto raises thousands to keep local charities functional, so I'm cool with it. :D
