I doubt that fridge is meant to be built in.

But the kitchen is badly designed and certainly not built for actual cooking.

The kitchen is really cheap and nasty but I'm guessing they just put something in that would show it was a kitchen because the new owner is going to replace it whether it cost £5,000 or £50,000.

If back to the future had been made in 2017 perhaps future Biff wouldn't have used the sports almanac but bought some property in London & left them to moulder.

Yes, it's an oddity of the planning law that an out of chartacter porch my Dad cobbled together from bits and pieces in 1962, is now listed, while that place can, apparently, be demolished.

if its next to windsor great park it will be slap bang in the middle of the green belt and therefore any grandiose plans for redeveloping the site will be severely curtailed i would think.

If money was no object I would love to build a observatory in that water tower...

having "impeccable personal taste" :rotfl: but limited funds, my choice would be retain the water tank, lose the roof covering, and convert to an infinity swimming pool since all the structural cost is already in place

"Infinity pools are very expensive and require extensive structural, mechanical, and architectural detailing. Since they are often built in precarious locations, sound structural engineering is paramount. The high costs of these pools are often found in the foundation systems ..." https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Infinity_pool

sadly of course those Grade 2 listed credentials would cause the planning mafi osa to refuse

would be "fun" to see if the modern water tower becomes the next home so its owners could indulge in one-upmanship and literally look down their noses at you  in your "so yesterday darling" quaint little Victorian tower

"Rich in traditional character" = barely touched since the 1950s imo.

Add one of my personal gripes - ie the number of times disabled bathrooms (eg usually those with half-height shower screens) are described as "wet rooms". Have long since learnt that "wet room" probably means disabled bathroom (ie rip out) - rather than "wet room" (oh goodie:)).

Nice extension, from outside appearences, but seems awkward layout, inside.

Lovely location, but seems a lot of glass that will be hard to keep clean of seagul poo and sea air. Plus seems a bit of poor layout, especially kitchen

Lovely house, thought it seemed a good price but then saw how close it is to the clifftops .
