Hello Forumites! In order to help keep the Forum a useful, safe and friendly place for our users, discussions around non-MoneySaving matters are not permitted per the Forum rules. While we understand that mentioning house prices may sometimes be relevant to a user's specific MoneySaving situation, we ask that you please avoid veering into broad, general debates about the market, the economy and politics, as these can unfortunately lead to abusive or hateful behaviour. Threads that are found to have derailed into wider discussions may be removed. Users who repeatedly disregard this may have their Forum account banned. Please also avoid posting personally identifiable information, including links to your own online property listing which may reveal your address. Thank you for your understanding.

My off spring falls into that category, only trouble is that she could not afford that price!

Although mine wouldn't be daft enough to spend £190k on a one bedder, addressing her like a teenager wouldn't work as a persuasive technique either.

That ad will sell those flats about as well as the old Playtex 18 hour girdle ads would sell women's underwear. :rotfl:

The Gunnera manicata did it for me, (pic33) along with the brook.

Have you noticed how brooks always 'babble,' in EA details? They never flood, like rivers and streams. ;)

Similarly, in that one there's 'electric heating,' not 'storage heaters.' I'm sure we all know the difference. :)

I agree that it looks wonderful. But I'd be a little concerned at what's growing in the conservatory (pics 16 and 28 ) The conservatory seems to have been built around them.

They're OK, just grape vines, but to do it correctly, the roots should be outside and the stem taken through the wall.
Any gaps could be filled with something non-setting, like plumber's mait. :)

    Is this it?

I think the first pic is misleading. It looks as though there are very close neighbours which might put people off immediately so they don't read the bit about the annex.

Anyone who has been that close to the A40 will know the answer!

Looked at a few properties in that area myself, but all the affordable ones came with added road noise. ;)
