Oops I think they got the descriptions of the photos a bit wrong on this one

I like the fact that they put up so many photos (although some of them are of odd things, like mirrors).
The captions are just bizarre though.

Lovely sized house though! Complete interior redesign and it'll be perfect
I thought that was a lovely house inside - a good do-er-upper. Bit ugly outside. But Beddgelert is lovely - Snowdonia is one of my favourite places.(AKA HRH_MUngo)

Imagine someone holding forth on biology whose only knowledge of the subject is the Book of British Birds, and you have a rough idea of what it feels like to read Richard Dawkins on theology: Terry Eagleton0 -
Not sure how this managed to sell for £220,000. Surely devalued by the huge fire previously?

Going to be knocked down and 3-4 houses built on the plot is my guess.0 -

The Gunnera manicata did it for me, (pic33) along with the brook.
Have you noticed how brooks always 'babble,' in EA details? They never flood, like rivers and streams.
Similarly, in that one there's 'electric heating,' not 'storage heaters.' I'm sure we all know the difference.0 -

Anywhere on the Western seaboard should be OK, and all southern counties. They are found as far north as Arran and the RHS class the plant as hardy.
The problem is space. I have plenty of that, but only a narrow stream side, so gunnera would totally dwarf everything else if I planted it. Rheums are an alternative, or maybe tetrapanax, but they are still pretty large, relative to most other plants. I may have to settle for rodgersias.0
