haha!
don't worry, u won't get fined anything...they said in the email they sent to me that they 'reserve the right' to ask for the membership fees back...but in my case, i am leaving the country after about 8 months, so i don't see how they can chase me...and i'm also a prudential (their company) member back home, both life insurance and personal accident insurance, so hopefully that'll be brownie points for me and they won't end up charging.
On a more assuring note, when i spoke to the guy on the phone (from Pruhealth) to activate my gym membership in Cannons, he said that there will be no extra charges except for the 25 quid activation fee that i'll have to pay if i cancel after 6 months. 30 days notice required. hope that helps.0 -
Hi All
I signed up to this offer and made my way over to Manchester and signed up. I've since gone back to Pru, because they need your membership number. However quite righly the call centre has said this particular gym is not one of those included (I've since checked the link that lists specific JJB gyms allowed).
So I'm in a bit of a pickle now! I'm currently attending Manchester Trafford for free, but the pru won't take my memebership number.
I've got a couple of options
1. Lie to Pru and give the name of a inclusive gym and hope no one notices
2. Carry on regardless and don't give pru my membership number
3. Take it up officially as in my opinion there is no cannons locally so this is my only option. In which case any one know how to contact someone at pru outside the call centre?
I think I've falen between the gaps here. Interestingly Manchester JJB did not bat an eyelid when I went to join, they even had a special Pru application pack.0 -

I want to continue with Cannons after my 6 months which ends this month. I was wondering if I cancelled my policy with Pruhealth and then started a new one whether I would be able to start the six months again. I would need to do this very very soon so any feedback that would help me would be appreciated.3 kids(DS1 6 Nov, DS2 8 Feb, DS3 24 Dec) a hubby and two cats - I love to save every penny I can!

Do it - that is a no brainer. If you include OH on the policy he will get free membership too.3 kids(DS1 6 Nov, DS2 8 Feb, DS3 24 Dec) a hubby and two cats - I love to save every penny I can!
