Yes, got it two months after applying for the policy. £115.

good stuff, I'm still waiting for mine but didnt sign up until Jan31st so supposed I can expect to get thru end of this month.
  • Hi, I'm about to try and take advantage of this offer. Pru-health have extended the six months free gym membership till the end of this month (March). Quidco link seems to move to old boots voucher offer. It would be great if it could take advantage of the gym membership with the £115 cashback. On the pru-health site it states you have to apply for the comprehensive price ($36 for me) to entitle you for gym membership. Maybe I will call to find out and also to confirm gym membership will default to £25 per month for the remainder of the term. So if I have to pay comprehensive and can't take advantege of Quidco cashback it will be much less worth my time. Anyone else thinking of joining now??

Hi I think someone mentioned about Quidco above. I didn't do it through them (sigh...) as I also found it didn't seem to link through. Also I didn't get comprehensive insurance I think - I got out of London, highest reserve I could find. Just to reassure you my papers came through today. It took about 3 weeks to get them through but then was completely straightforward to get gym membership. The insurance seems excellent, too. You can get up to a 75% discount if you go to the gym regularly, get health check ups, use their pedometer etc. At the moment I pay £20.46 per month and that would go down to around £5 per month I guess! I also really like the fact that it has all these incentives and help for getting healthier. Really chuffed with it!

Just FYI, my GF and I both registered for this through Quidco and they both declined. I am considering cancelling the PMI policy now but will leave it for a day or two just in case it gets tracked again (false hope maybe)...

Would be interested to know if anyone elses has been declined....

    Thanks

Don't forget the 75% discount is a discount from the premium you are currently paying .. its a discount from whatever the full price is next year.... will still be a lot cheaper but perhaps not quite as cheap as you are expecting.

I signed up for this purely for the gym abt 7 months ago and wen it came to renewing it worked out cheaper for me to join a different gym, when you took my £20/month premium into account as well as the £25/month you pay to after the 6 months is up. Of course... if you actually want the PMI then is probably worth it!!

I just got a quote on this and with 3 hours exersize a week it comes to £19 odd a month. With Quidco this means I'd actually make a profit. Shame I don't do that much exersize... :)

I've already done this and got 6 months membership before. Can I do it again and am I likely to get the cashback? as I'm on a budget and I could do without losing £110

Try it mate - it would be interesting to see if anyone else has theirs declined (see my post above).

You could always cancel your PMI policy if the Quidco doesn't work....

I just checked the T&C and it says it's for new customers only... Anyone think there's a way around this?

Signed up twice yesterday, both have tracked and have been declined within hours. I've cancelled both the policies with the PRU as without the cashback (or only 50% if queried), this deal ain't so sweet for JJB. Think there could be a problem either with Quidco, their affiliate or the merchant as I did clear all the cookies, followed affiliated Quidco link ,etc.
  • I signed up on Wednesday via Quidco and mine too has declined - do we think this will be reversed? Doens't look good if it's happened to a few of us...! Also, my red welcome pack arrived today and there's no mention of the free 6 months membership - anyone know what to do? I'm tempted to still go for it as my monthly cost would be £20.01 which is still very cheap for Cannons membership!
