I think I have been lucky and have a Wii on the way from Amazon.
If I hadn't today seems a good day to be buying from fleabay. The prices are down considerably on weekdays.
I just saw one go for £200.
Obviously this may just be a blip, they may rocket on Monday OR the market may be saturated and prices may continue to tumble.
Personally I would look for a seller close to where I live so I can collect and save extortionate postage costs.
Obviously buying on eBayisn't ideal but with the rediculous prices of some recent shop bundles,it seems a similar rip - off.0 -
;6895949]But the trick is finding ones that'll deliver to uk...
Any luck with alternate.de though?
Sorry, I don’t know about Alternate.de because I got my Nintendo wii from German Amazon few weeks ago and not looking to buy another one. I suggest someone still hunting for one E-mail them and find out. It's worth a try.0 -

The ones from UK sellers still seem to be reaching £260-£270 inc delivery and that seems to be regardless now of whether they are UK or EU sourced units.
The odd used one, or one from a dodgy seller, sell for less but its not the norm.
The volumes will start to drop after the weekend too as a lot of these will be units bought this week while stock was available and then traded quickly. With both EU stock an UK stock rare, prices will only go one way sadly.0 -

There is no need to be worried about security as you are providing no more information than is written on a cheque that you would send them.
.
Yes Bank transfer is completely safe.... for the seller! But for the buyer you are effectively putting your money into a black hole.... try reversing a bank transfer.....
The security doesn't bother me as you say it's nothing more than written on a cheque0 -
I can believe anyone would recommend bank transfers most ebay scams revolve around them.
EDIT: I know it wasn't ebay, but the principle risk remains try getting your money back. I didn't mention Paypal either.0 -
I know someone has already asked this but I didn't see a reply.
Has anyone received or heard anything about their gamestation order from Thursday?
My account still says processing.0
