Hi all, don't know whether I will be able to weigh in in the morning as my son has broke my wii fit plus game, grr! Hope this message posts as I'm trying to write it on my phone! Good luck to everyone and I will try and find a way to weigh in tomorrow! Not hoping for anything as it has been a bad week, I am also losing motivation

    Welcome Ms Night Rider :j

You've come at the right time as we're about to start next month's challenges! We do a 'lose 5lb a month' challenge, a team weight loss challenge, and an exercise challenge (something different each month - not figured out what October's will be yet).
  • I am interested in the monthly exercise challege, thanks for the welcome.

i'm getting that feeling of embarrassment at the thought of disclosing my weight, I know everybody is in the same boat and its a forum where nobody knows me, but. Still.

its really hard to say no to food, at the weekend, I made the mccains crispy chicken and decided that I would no longer buy fried chicken as this was much tastier and no frying, lo and behold, went to mr a's today and saw some whoopsied southern fried chciken wings and decided I must have them, walking down the hill and thought to myself why did I even buy them again? My freezer is full and had to take things out of their containerds to fit said wings in, I really cant help myself, I swear. :(

Eating wise I had a very good day, had a special k bar and a yogurt for breakfast, a nutragrain mid morning snack, went to zumba, had a drumstick of chicken and basmati rice and a pack of velvet crunch swweet thai afternoon snack, this is quite good for me as I love cakes and sweets alot, on the flipside I love fruit alot.

anyway enough of my rant, well done to those who have lost lbs and resist temptations.

    Morning all!

FS 2lb loss this week. A couple of interim goals reached for me, my weight is under 12 stone :D which is the first time for probably 15 years and my BMI is now under 26 :D with only 4lbs to lose before I hit the Healthy range :D

  • 69.0 kg today. That's + 0.4 kg from a week ago. Not so good. But that's how it works.

  • Hey folks,

3lbs lost this week. That counts for the holiday weight and a tiny bit more.

Not been good on exercise or eating fronts this month, but will be more positive in October!

Hi all, just found this thread and I think this is exactly what I need. Can I join?

I went dress shopping today and it was depressing I've gone up a size and am at the heaviest I've ever been, 9st 12lbs, which on my small 5"2 frame doesn't sit well.

Fitness for me isn't a problem as I have to walk my dog and I have a treadmill that I run on a couple of times a week, this is what has probably stopped me from balooning altogether because I have an unbeliveble sweet tooth and I just love food!

I have a christening soon and a wedding next easter to work towards. And it's only a stone I want to loose, how hard can it be?

Well done to all the loosers!!

May I suggest using http://www.myfitnesspal.com/ to track food, I found that knowing how many calories I had eaten and what I had left help me plan and control my intake.

MyFitnessPal is the best website of its sort I have found, it has millions of foods already defined, a nice clean and simple interface, it tracks exercise and best of all it is free. There is also a mobile phone app too.
