I am completely intrigued to know where you got £137 worth of coupons from?!?! I mainly use internet ones and get the odd one I spot in magazines or off products and generally have about £5 worth for each shop I do.

Can you divulge what your main coupon source is please?

As an aside, I think there has been some very good advice given here and I definitely agree that the manager (if it's not a hoax from a friend) is desperately trying to cover his own back and they really haven't got a leg to stand on. Yes you may have taken the P*** somewhat but they accepted them so no fraudulent behaviour on your part.

as they would have clocked the times.

otherwise only the store and yourself would know that information

yep its a worried manager-nothing else look at the letter, not tesco standard, no tesco logo etc, a letter from tesco or sainsburys etc officially would be on paper with a logo saying the company name etc

coupon source-everywhere just keep your eyes open!:)

the coupons i used were out of the somerfield magazine, there were 5 x 5 pounds off + others. 37 pounds in one magazine
