    Afternoon Everyone!:hello:

Just had a cuppa and slice of m&s xmas cake - im trying to get rid of all this stuff so that i will not be tempted when i start my new health kick:rotfl:

vickya - Rosemary Conley - what dvd do you have? I like rosemary she's easy to fit in your routine, a bit more gentle than Davina!!!! but I MUST start doing some now!!

Am taking the kiddies to see Happy Feet later today - it will be DDs first time - so I hope she wont be scared when it goes dark!!

I havent had a look at the new year FLC yet - but I have been good in getting organised, sorted out some bills etc, xmas decs away - so feel ok -
I even bought myself a PINK FILOFAX in MrTs sale yesterday:D :rotfl:

Happy belated birthday to Mr Penguin:T - thanks for reminder about xmas avatar - must update mine accordingly!

tru - ((hugs)) I can feel your anger bursting out! Hope things ease for you.

aussielass - STOP mentioning the cricket  and get on with your cobblers!:D

bargainrzl - oh yes the delights of bermondsey! at least you dont live in the supposidily 4th worst place (as per Location Location Poll on TV the other day):o

off to update avatar, have a good day all, good luck in the sales those who are going !

  • Can I join the "I wish today was over" club? As DD is poorly, I let her sleep with me last night. She slept, I didn't. She talked in her sleep, moved from the top of the bed to the bottom and back to the top again. So, I have had almost no sleep.

Still, got some washing done today and have tidied up the kitchen quite a bit.

This is the last day that we are off together so I thought we could go to the cinema to see "Night at the Museum". Neither of them want to go.

Tru I know exactly how you feel. XDH never made a decision in all the years we were together. It builds up and builds up til you just explode. Course, it could be cause you have nicotine withdrawal symptoms as Aussielass said but don't beat yourself up about it. You are not alone.

Alfietinker Well done on becoming debt free. Unfortunately, my debt position will worsen this year as my brother and sisters and I are going to buy my parents' house for them. So, I have to raise around £6000 in the next month or so.   That terramundi came just at the right time!

Jockett Well done on the weight loss.

Blairweech I like the idea of putting your resolutions in your sig. Hope you manage to achieve them all. This year I need to lose weight and save more (see comments to Alfietinker) so that I can reduce my debt as quickly as possible.

Sorry, didn't mean to ramble so much. Got to go and do some more housework.

    Hi

Nice to be able to post, lost power for 26 hours on top of a bad cold, so stayed in bed yesterday trying to get warm again. Not been a happy bunny.

New year is a funny time, people you think are your mates, aren't any more.

Been using up leftovers from Christmas so should spend a lot less money in January.

I would like to know who and how I can claim compensation for loss of power over new year, it was mentioned on another thread. We felt forced out to find a place to get warm and it cost us!
    An average day in my life:hello: :eek::mad: :coffee::coffee::coffee::T :o :rotfl: :rotfl: :p :eek::mad: :beer:

I've got the Ultimate Body Workout, but I've got a triple box set on it's way from CD Wow - just so that I don't end up doing the same thing every day! I do like it because you CAN work at your own pace and you don't have to be ultra-atheletic!

    Hello Everyone,

I'm afraid that I haven't been able to read everyone's posts as the system keeps throwing me out, and then takes ages to load; it could be problems with my PC as it's not been happy for a few days.

Not much OS here as yet, as not been long in from work, but I did make a loaf yesterday, and it's so yummy I will have to make another today. I've had my Panasonic BM for a couple of years but have never got into a regular routine with using it, but one of my New Year's resolution is to have BM bread.

One piece of 'good' news is that I have been able to register again with my NHS dentist. I used to be with him but I'm afraid that I let it lapse and it must be about 12 years since I've been to the dentist  I've got to go for my check up next week ....

My DH has just arrived back home, so I'll be off to make a cup of tea and get on with some more jobs, chat later.

Loraine, good going on the special offer on the tins of goose fat:T

    Hello everyone,

Got a very busy day planned, so am not even going to read the thread until I've done something....as a reward.

    - Clean the oven
[STRIKE]- Dismantle the tree[/STRIKE] Just gotta cut it down, stuff it in the car and take it to the tip
    [STRIKE]- Thankyou cards[/STRIKE]
    - Clean kitchen
    - Sort out onions
    - Clean the hall
    - Ironing

So, I'll be back later, as long I've actually done something. Hope you're all alright :)

Am half way through cleaning the oven, won't take me too much longer. OH has wiped the doors in the hall down (haven't 'checked' them yet through :)). And I sorted out the airing cupboard. So, I'm getting there.

Alfietinker - very well done on clearing your debt! :j
anniebooklover - 'fraid I can't take credit for the idea, I copied it off BargainRzl :p. Anyway, the less said about my resolutions, the better - am not exactly making headway with them

Am I the only person who laughed at Penny-Pincher going to the dentists at 'tooth-thirty'!! :D (Hope it wasn't too agonising by the way, I hate the dentist too)

Good Afternoon All - ((((hugs)))) to those who need them

Hope you and OH make up soon Penny Pincher, I know how tiring it can be when you fall out, was there not so long ago with my OH.

Dlb, how many hours now since no fag!
    Well done

Work was quiet again today, system went down at 11.30am, so no-one could use the computers. We couldn't leave early just incase it came back on - which by the time I had finished - and it didn't.

I went to the doctors, he had a look in my ear, said I'd got **** what ever name he mentioned. Said it was illuminous green colour inside, (makes me feel a whole lot better for knowing that), gave me some ear drops, (again) and if its still no better in a week, to book appt with the nurse, for an oral flush (sound ominent) We will have to see how the new drops go.

I finally went to a local shop "n" save shop near us, which DLB kindly recommended where I could buy stardrops from. Yippeeee, I finally have some, after searching for weeks to get some. So I stocked up and brought quite a few, yes DLB - I have left some on the shelf for you. Thanks

Steak pie for dinner, and oven chips with peas & carrots

Uniforms have been ironed ready for work/school tomorrow.

Im just about to sweep up and mop the hall & kitchen, using the new stardrops. (highlight of the day for me) lol
Take care all - have a good evening
    Love as usual.
