Anybody use tesco webmail?

Judging by past experience, I wouldn't count on it!

I have also lost all my messages. Am not sure what Tesco techs are doing here, but this fault has been rumbling on for a week or so now and *still* people can't login, or the messages dissapear, or you get a login and then it just hangs and won't do anything.

Why is it taking them so long to sort it ?

Mine is back working now but still unable to retrieve the "lost" emails.

Situation same as yesterday 3 accounts ok (but slow) and the other (most important) minus old emails.

Not sure why I posted this really it was the situation I expected to wake up to, but just hoped for a miracle.

Serves me right in a way, when the service was so slow I should have taken that as a sign to download anything important, but I thought I'd do it when the service was quicker !

Everything including ALL my messages, saved messages,addresses and spam box have disappeared - anyone know how to contact tesco web ???? I need my addresses back!! what the hell has happened here? !

I phoned yesterday on this number 0800 4798181.

Their status page from link above does not reflect the fact that people have lost ALL emails/addresses.

If you phone can you ask them if they are working on restoring emails and report back here. I don't hold out much hope.

Agree the email service has been very dysfunctional since last Monday; emails come through occasionally but most of the time I cannot log in either through Thunderbird, the webmail service or on my Ipad. All the emails and Mail folders on my Ipad vanished last Monday and have not restored despite a hard reboot. I contacted support via hotmail and was told they had a server problem which had been repaired, but clearly they haven't and it's as bad as ever. On Thunderbird I usually download only headers then decide which messages are worth looking at - I can get the headers sometimes but the messages then get stuck downloading. Some messages have been "sticking" for a while, I don't just mean the ones with large attachments, but at present it's universal.

Didnt realise addresses had gone missing as well. Maybe Tesco will get their act together and restore/re-instate the whole thing....'Patience is a virtue'....which doesnt help much really.
