Mobiles.co.uk are doing the Galaxy S2 on O2 for £27 a month, 300 mins, unlimited texts, 500mb internet and the phone is free. 4 months line rental free to by redemption. Also if you go through Quidco you should get £50 back. I got mine from there recently and had no problems.

This deal seems too good to be true, has anyone done this deal and if so do you get a new phone or a reconditioned phone? As this is such a good deal it makes me think like wise.

there were better deals on omio (dot com) http://www.!!!!!!!!!/ a few weeks ago for 28£ a month for 2y, free phone, 900mins 1gb internet etc

see the present deals on the link http://www.!!!!!!!!!/phones/samsung/galaxy-s-ii/deals I find that often this website has better deals. Although I havent yet bought from the website yet, but may soon as in a few months i upgrade too, probably will buy the same phone as you if there is nothing better by then.

edit: I dont know why the weblink to omio repeatedly gets blocked by mse when users like me post it here. i find that usually this website gives better deals. (I dont have any links or own any shares of this website). Looks like MSE is not an money saving website anymore and has its preferences. Wrong way to go for mse. Looks like I will be looking out for better deals on hotukdeals website than on mse from now on as i guess better deals get filtered out by mse auto filters based on their corporate preferences and links. just my impressions seeing the filtering of genuine suggestions for better deals for customers being blocked by mse now.

Doesn't look like this offer is still available. Do mobiles.co.uk regularly change their deals?

!!!!!! - if the texts and internet could be extended for a fiver or so extra a month that would have suited me perfectly

*edit - looking again 14p a text and 10p per mb when going over the allowances make it a bit of a killer, I would potentially get charged an extra £30 just for my usual 1.3gbish per month - ouch, to anybody that thinks 500mb is enough for a smartphone on android (*cough vodafone, o2 etc *) I have used 110mb in the last 3 days, that's not really doing anything with the phone other than emails and occasional browsing

    Hi,
kinda off subject but i have had smartphones for quite a number of years and have never gone over my 500mb limit. I dont do occasional browsing I am a price checking addict I never buy anything with checking if I could get it cheaper. with the last 2 weeks i have used 94.3mb. I have all sorts of apps that sync FB, Hotmail, Gmail, work mail, news, and a cinema app which updates daily. If I was you I would get checking what using your data, download a data counter and double check you usage and whats using your mb.

I've always had the same experience with android and have had android phones for the last 2 years - 500mb would barely cover next to no usage (i'm including emails in next to no usage)- if I start watching videos etc online it doubles at least.

I admit if I HAD to I could keep the usage below 500 - but why have a smartphone if the network restrict what can be done with it - It really irks me as the new capping seems to have come about (or actually been enforced) over the last year.
