Making raspberry muffins again - DS1 requested a batch to take to Grans tonight (he is sleeping over then they are off to Edinburgh for the last day of his holidays)
Best friend is coming around for a cuppa with her brood - so figured the easiest thing to do would be to double up - thankfully at about 1p per muffin they are not going to break the bank.
I have chopped up the slightly squishy peaches that are left this week and frozen those to have in muffins later in the year - DS1 will have lovely packed lunches
Still running hot n cold on the mortgage challenge - may take my ramblings over the ther side foryour input.
Off to make some lovely coffee

PS Yesterdays challenge:
OK so you know deep down the your secret heart that this challenge was coming.
Grab a bin and march bravely towards ha often-times pit of despair that I refer to as my underwear drawer.
Tip everything out onto your bed and start flinging.
- the bras that are too small - you know even when you lose weight they may not still fit you.
- anything grey and dingy ........... fling!!!!! fling!!!!!! fling!!!!!
- anything that the elastic has gone in
- anything that is to big
- anything (Ahem!!!!) bought for you that you know you will never wear even in the sanctuary of your boudoir
- any "speciality" underwear that you haven't worn in over a year.(I have a beautiful corset that I actually got framed instead of letting languish unloved in my drawer fro years).
- check tights, pop-socks and stockings for runs - and fling! fling! fling!
Now pop everything back in the drawer so that you can easily find everything in the morning when you are in the hurry.
If your drawer now shuts without trapping bra straps and ripping holes in nylons, the the jobs a good one.
But if your drawer now looks sadly depleted and you realise you don't have enough to see you through from one wash to the next - then you know what the next inevitable step is????
Time to go shopping for a few well chosen pieces of underpinning that fit well and make you feel fabulous.
You don't have to spend a fortune, but get yourself measured and make sure they fit really well. I always see and feel the difference.
Morning All,
I survived the day yesterday and had a good time made all the sweeter by knowing I'd budgeted well and even came with a few pennies which is goes to by a lamb shoulder from te butchers this morning!
I don't usually do the challenges but this one spoke to me:D my underwear draw is now decluttered, carp in bin and actually feel quite liberated. Going Matalan to see if I can find three draw tidies and then off to buy a new nice set and some everyday pants:eek: have a lovely day all

Hi all
Been to FiL for the weekend, lots of time to think. Another little plan hatching.
I did my underwear drawer a couple of weeks ago and really need to restock. Remember if you take some clothes including an M&S item into Oxfam they give you a £5 off £35 spend voucher. The birds of sadness may fly overhead but don't let them nest in your hair0 -
Good afternoon.
Still not well and I still have a really uneasy feeling that something's not right. Or something bad is going to happen.
I really need to do my underwear drawer, although i don't actually have a drawer It's all just shoved onto the top shelf of my wardrobe. I did get treated in La Senza last sat by DH to a black bra and 2 pairs of matching shorts, was actually measured too. Then tuesday I was bought a white multiways bra and 5 pairs of matching shorts.Boiler pot £30.92/£10000 -
Good day,bad day, good day today and I am exhausted.
Church fab cos my two did prayers and were really clear and loud, dd cooked dinner bacon butties for them and bacon salad beautifully presented for me. Went to classic cars show and ds was drooling over porsches, bmw, audi, porsche and got to sit in a bmw rally car while the owner revved it (seriously ds nearly died of excitement!)
Bad day lost car keys and phone, searched everywhere we had been as did loads of the classic car people. Rang RAC on someone elses mobile, paid £28 extra cos will only take you 10 miles ifyou have lost keys and we were 14 miles from home! Bought drinks, went to car took off cagoule and fleece and car keys fell out of one pocket and phone out of the other:eek::eek::o:o:o:o:o:j
Cancelled RAC, got £28 back, apologised to lovely car people who had been searching for something that was not lost and tried to sneak away - then man on PA system announced keys had been found (big cheers from crowd) in the owners pocket (big boos from crowd) and ds shouts it was my mummy at the top of his voice:o
I am now blaming my stupidity on all the healthy eating and exercise I have been doing recently- obviously my body/brain needs more fat and sugar to work effectively:pMortgage £119,533 going down slowly
