Just looking for the last bits for the bathroom. Who pays £131 for a loo brush and holder?
However, trying to find a plain White ceramic one is slightly more challenging than I thought it would be! I'm certainly not going to be able to get everything I need in one place...
Some very silly people, I expect. We do have them though - but cheap ones. Greenbee, home made cleaning products: which recipe do you use?

Mostly bicarb followed by vinegar with some tea tree oil added to it. Sometimes borax and lemon juice (a good way to clean the bath is to use half a lemon to apply borax...)
I really can't be bothered with anything more complicated!0 -

Is very quietly back, very quietly rebuilding self-esteem and very quietly sorting out everything. I dont want to get into any heavy explanation type posts. Its still raw etc, but I'm here, I'm alive, I'm kicking and Leyla is too.
Will try and catch up but think too much reading for my tired eyes.
What I would like to do and say in all sincerity is to acknowledge each and every one of the members of this forum who Pm'd me with genuine ofers to help, also all the people who offered help publically via the forum.
Amazing, wonderful, unbelievable, above and beyond the call of everything. Never, ever in my life have I experienced such sisterhood. And it will go on and on for as long as the Matrix exists.
Thank you so, so, so much, and there are a couple of special people. GQ & GF, thank you both xxxxxxxxxxx0 -
great to hear from you Fantasia, I have been lurking and hoping everything is coming on ok for you. I have put myself back together after some dreadful goings on this time last year, it has taken a long time but things are good now and I am sure they will be for you too
I am a bit too far south to be able to help but if you are stuck please drop me a PM as there is plenty of space for pooches here
good luck x

Great to see you posting Fantasia, like LHG I have been watching from a distance. I know what you are going through and the need for space. Just glad to see you around. Take your time, things will happen for you as and when you are ready. No need to go into any details just know that we are here for a bit of a laugh, a whinge, a holler and a screaming fit whenever you need any of the above. Likewise FB is always there to give me a call. Glad that you have a couple of special people there to help too. Give Leyla a big flobberdy hug XXXSome days there aren't any trumpets, just lots of dragons. Courage doesn't always roar. Sometimes courage is the quiet voice at the end of the day saying, I will try again tomorrow -- Mary Anne Radmacher0

Good to hear from you, Fantasia. Go easy on yourself till you feel more balanced - you don't go through something like that without feeling raw and battered.
We're here and will be here whenever you feel able to post but don't feel pressured.
(((hugs)))But how can you know what you want till you get what you want and you see if you like it?0 -
Lovely to see your post Fantasia, just lovely - so glad to hear from you, thank you for letting us know how you are.
big hugs to you and Leyla
GQ xoxIf you have a talent, use it in every which way possible. Don't hoard it. Don't dole it out like a miser. Spend it lavishly like a millionaire intent on going broke.

Hi Fantasia - you take it in your own time. We are here to do whatever, whenever.

PS Yesterdays challenge:
OK so you know deep down the your secret heart that this challenge was coming.
Grab a bin and march bravely towards ha often-times pit of despair that I refer to as my underwear drawer.
Tip everything out onto your bed and start flinging.
- the bras that are too small - you know even when you lose weight they may not still fit you.
- anything grey and dingy ........... fling!!!!! fling!!!!!! fling!!!!!
- anything that the elastic has gone in
- anything that is to big
- anything (Ahem!!!!) bought for you that you know you will never wear even in the sanctuary of your boudoir.
- any "speciality" underwear that you haven't worn in over a year.(I have a beautiful corset that I actually got framed instead of letting languish unloved in my drawer fro years).
- check tights, pop-socks and stockings for runs - and fling! fling! fling!
Now pop everything back in the drawer so that you can easily find everything in the morning when you are in the hurry.
If your drawer now shuts without trapping bra straps and ripping holes in nylons, the the jobs a good one.
But if your drawer now looks sadly depleted and you realise you don't have enough to see you through from one wash to the next - then you know what the next inevitable step is????
Time to go shopping for a few well chosen pieces of underpinning that fit well and make you feel fabulous.
You don't have to spend a fortune, but get yourself measured and make sure they fit really well. I always see and feel the difference.FINALLY AND OFFICIALLY DEBT FREESmall Emergency Fund £500 / £500
