Just looking for the last bits for the bathroom. Who pays £131 for a loo brush and holder?

However, trying to find a plain White ceramic one is slightly more challenging than I thought it would be! I'm certainly not going to be able to get everything I need in one place...

£131 !!!!!!!!!!!!! my bathroom suite only cost £146:rotfl::rotfl:

DS1 loves the muffins - I found that because I used frozen berries they had just defrosted rather than cooked in the mix so were lovely and fresh tasting. Must remember that for the next time.

Mum and Dad have just arrived and traded me one collie dog for two son's - so I shall have a few hours peace to rattle on with something productive.

But first to sample some of my "bottom of the fridge" soup and the bread I made this morning from the chapatti flour last week - smells (and tastes great - like sourdough).

In fact must go and mix up another 3 cup batch.

Blind, bin and my mother's birthday present ordered. Need to check whether what I want to get my parents for christmas is in the sale and if so order it.

I will have to go out later for food shopping and to buy a loo brush and loo roll holder ... Or at least to check that I really can't find something better than what's online.

Also want to get some work out of the way later as once the bathroom people have been to fix the hole in the airing cupboard and the electrician has been I will be able to start cleaning properly and having a really good tidy/clear out.

GB - Why do you want/need a loo brush and holder? A bit of bleach and a pair of marigolds work for me ...:money:

In the hope that visitors will use it...

I don't use bleach, but I do clean throughly using my fair-trade rubber gloves and homemade cleaning products. I like to have a loo brush and some Eco-friendly loo cleaner available for others to use:D

I don't have a loo brush either - sine the day it went missing and I found Dad's collie sitting halfway up the stairs chewing on it!!!

Beefburgers in freezer - so after this cuppa I am off to make oil free lemon pickle and lime pickle t perk up those mega cheap dals that will be our comfort food through the winter.

And then I am going to sit on my sofa with a notepad and relish my child free afternoon - well that's the plan, I may make pizza instead -LOL

ETA - I have done the forecasts for MFi3 - and although scary it actually looks a lot more doable now (or I have started to hallucinate)

You might want a loo brush when you have lodgers MG... But with littlies and dogs a fully enclosed one is a good idea. Don't rule out free cycle or freegle as a source, as i've got rid of old ones there (bleached, obviously) to people who have taken them for offices/workshops etc.

Wow, I have a lot of books! Hope they all go at the carboot tomorrow. The 2nd clutter barometer area is cleared, hoovered and 90% of the stuff now has a home or is in the black bag (2 of rubbish, 2 for carboot so far!)

Started on the garage last night and managed to shift a car boots worth of stuff to the tip this morning. Dh is out with ds fortheday so dd and I are painting one wall of her room a lush deep purple (very grown up and "posh" according to dd who is currently wearingitonher nose, arms and chest!)

Going to finish it off then clean up and debunk some more gibble from the garage into car and head off to see my new friends at the tip, although we have promised ourselves a girly cake stop on the way.

Positive vibes for my best friend who was due baby number 3 yesterday and who had horrendous problems with baby number2 and is heartily fed up and worried at the same time.
