I didn't get that when I read it - then had an aha moment when was standing in the Bank.
Time to set up a new thread :rotfl:

Thinking of you JC
Waves at Fantasia:hello:
Good luck for your house viewing tonight Groatie - fingers crossed and positive vibes.
Blowing an absolute hoolie here, so much so that we lost our power this morning.
Love to all, Thriftyxxx0 -
Thinking of you jc.
I am picturing Groatie's viewers loving the house so much they can't resist making an offer.
Don't know where this weather has come from - it was cold but sunny this morning - sure you don't want it back Thrifty?0 -
Been wrestling with technology this afternoon - but the "new to us" laptop now can see the internet, can play DS1's online game, reach the homework site for the school and has had adobe acrobat downloaded so he can watch Youtube.
Now it has been packed into its box again and tucked under my bed. DS1 is also getting a teeny Jazz camera, some animation books and software (from a friend) and a huge bucket of plasticine.
I'm hoping he follows in the family tradition and wins an Oscar for animation and them pays off my Mortgage:rotfl:
Probably won't see him till February after he opens his presents though:cool:
Off to draft an intro for the new thread:
MG: The Matrix Re-wired ....................... did we not just start a new thread???

Hollow laughter... got a text from the property manager at lunchtime to say the alleged viewers decided to buy a house they saw last week.
Silver lining - one very neat and tidy house! To adapt from Field of Dreams: "If I tidy it, they will come"..... but not tonight :rotfl::rotfl:If you have a talent, use it in every which way possible. Don't hoard it. Don't dole it out like a miser. Spend it lavishly like a millionaire intent on going broke.

Enjoy your haughtiness TMIF
Fingers crossed for a better result next time Groatie
Finally got my approved food order to go through, although a couple of the items I wanted were gone
Have got some curtains up, although the last curtain pole is resisting a bit. I've packed up a couple of boxes of books to get rid of and have some for the charity back (although I still have far too many to keep).
Summer clothes are packed away in a blanket chest, as are the spare sofa covers and outdoor cushions. I have lots of hangers to store, but should now be able to sort out my winter wardrobe (there's not much to it...). First batch of christmas cards have been written, and I can't locate anymore so will need to buy some. Christmas presents are slowly being sorted so hopefully I can get some wrapping done. I'd quite like to manage to get the present stash down to a sensible level, so need to use up stuff I've got and only buy essentials.
Hopefully I'll manage to get enough of the study cleared soon for the electrician to be able to work in there! I could also do with OH or someone else who has the skill and patience to put up floating shelves coming over for long enough to get three of them (and the curtain pole) up in the study... I suspect I'll be waiting for my dad's help in the new year though ...0 -
JC, love and all my thoughts are with you.
Any Matrix ladies watching BBC2? It's a programme about passive income streams, Rich Dad Poor Dad, and the folk who pay to go to lots of seminars. It's ....interesting!
