Sorry but can't see your linky

I am doing mind maps from my study text books to hopefully capture all the important theories and models. So I thought that if I print out the structure then I can be more creative when adding the graphs etc Also I have only one week to get it all done to leave me one week for question practice so all aid to speed it up is needed.

Oops - its there now, but here it is again :D

Groatie Queen : I really like that phrase 'Christmas presence'. It means so much more than 'presents.

Jcc2703 : consoling vibes being sent to you all. I really know what you mean as my ex was ill a few years ago but he recovered. I had reached the stage MG talked about of accepting that we were together for a 'season and reason', and my children are grown up but it is still a strange time.

Lastly, I will confess to being a stationery addict as well. There are a lot of us around here.

It is going to rain here. A neighbour has hung her washing out. Our car was washed yesterday. The window cleaner has come.
But how can you know what you want till you get what you want and you see if you like it?

    Good afternoon

After struggling to carry shopping home yesterday cause I never had enough for a taxi, I have done in my good arm, so I'm struggling today.

Ds1's bedroom is coming along now, black walls are done but needs a few bits patched up, all the plaster is dry so the white walls can be done now.

JC. Thinking of you. I can't imagine how difficult your conversation with DS1 was. And don't be surprised if feelings appear for ex further down the line -I know my Mum had a bit of a weepy time after Dad was killed and they had been divorced for almost 20 years

And another stationery !!!!!! addict here :o

  • Hi all,

I'm sending positive thoughts for you JC2703.

I'm still absolutely useless at the mind mapping, I just can't seem to get a grip of it and top of that I can't find my MG book!!!

    That's not a good start.

Anyway, this girl's back to work tomorrow and not looking forward to it very much. Now if a certain person wasn't there I would most definitely be a happier girl returning to the office but they are there and I will just have to crack on with it. At least I have my digital radio (I hope nobody has nicked it) in my drawer that I will be able to listen to in one ear!

So everyone, I hope today's not been too bad and my thoughts are going out to everyone who hasn't had a good day or weekend or who are going through a difficult time at the moment. There's quite a few people who need support just now and although I no longer have my faith I do think and hope that things work out for all those in need.

  • Eeeeep - was interviewing all day so only checked my mobile at 6.00pm - someone is coming to view the house tomorrow at 8.00pm. So after a cuppa I'll be in zoom mode tweaking things. So, two hours tonight and if needed, two hours after work tomorrow should see it sorted. At least the only things that need shifted back into the eaves are the bare minimum after the de-cluttering spate at the weekend - and I can take the 4 black bags to a CS near my work at lunchtime tomorrow.

MG, what a lovely post. That's exactly how I feel about my ex - that we learned what we needed to, and it was time for different lessons and experiences.

Right, I'm off to sort out my piles (of stuff!)

Thank you all for your thoughts and comments - it's very much appreciated. He is still holding on but with a BP of 30/40 I'm not sure how long he can .

His partner told DS1 that he's quite confused and is talking about a dog I got when we were together - I said to DH that I found it odd he would talk of her but DH said maybe he was 'in' the time that we had her, as a family before we divorced. A couple of times today I've felt that he's very near me, like if I turned around he could be standing there.

I had that conversation today MG actually, I told him I wished him nothing but well and I hoped he would be made comfortable if not better, but that what ever happened I would continue to raise our children the best I could and I would encourage them to stay in contact with their half-siblings.

Twins are very down and DS2 was asking if I thought he would last until they were due to visit in 3 weeks but I was honest and told him that I just didn't know. He was so looking forward to seeing him - DS2 is very much his father's son in personality and looks.

Anyway we'll see what the night and the morrow bring x

JC2703 I'm thinking of you and your families. It must be very hard on the children.
