The Matrix - Re-Evolution!!

TMIF - have you tried lavender oil on your pillow - only a couple of drops as it is very fragrant. HTH.

Boys have just been fed "Pudsey" pancakes (pancake circles with two circles for ears so it looks likes Pudsey's head)
First gift of the day was to look where the dirty washing lives (their laundry baskets) and both found little keyring Pudsey's.
Grandma had a teeny win on the lottery and has spent £20 on the kids this week on Pudsey bits n bobs - and a cbeebies comic.
The kids are so excited you would think it was Christmas :rotfl:
What a nice way to spend an INSET day

for me too! I think I've tried everything now
I feel like a zombie!! (Some would say no change there!)
In the past I think I must have tried everything too... lavender, herbal pills, sleeping pills from the Doc, cutting out caffiene and then all drinks after 7pm, music, etc etc etc... in the end the phase just passes... but while it's happening, it's awful.
It seems to be triggered after a stressful period... i.e. it doesn't happen while things are at their worse, but just after...
And IT SUCKS!0 -
Hugs to TMIF and OO. Sorry I've no remedies either, but plenty of sympathy.
Yesterday's assault on the eaves went well. I hope today to put together another load for the charity shop. I've discovered some of my LPs and books have rarity value and will Amazon them.
Today's carrot is a cafe outing this afternoon with a pal. So I'd better get cracking. If you have a talent, use it in every which way possible. Don't hoard it. Don't dole it out like a miser. Spend it lavishly like a millionaire intent on going broke.

Hugs to tmif and OO - no answers sorry. I am the absolute opposite end of the scale, I can sleep standing up, any time, any place, hairdressers are a nightmare. Once nodded off for a second when pushing ds's pram . Sure I must have narcolepsy, would explain why I am always tired.
Do you have any objection if I join you in your mfi3 challenge MG. Our outstanding mortgage is a lot less at 20k but it still feels like the weight of the world at times. I desperately need some oomph, va va voom, NRG, get-up-and-go, a pin in the bum, kick up the bahookie, anything to get me going...0 -
Non-sleepers - have you tried Epsom Salt baths? Work every time for me...0

It is said that dried hops can aid sleep; a small bag, tucked into a pillow (as you would with lavender) appears to be the way to go.
I can't say if it works, I'm one of those fall asleep on a washing line kind of person (roll eyes smiley here). What works for Him Indoors is concentrating on a TV programme as that way, he isn't thinking about not sleeping. (This means he heads off to the living room in the middle of the night and then falls asleep)
TMIF: Some people are really sensitive to caffeine so 7pm may be too late!
MG: Good thing they aren't into Star Wars. Yet.
