Just been to Boots to get more drugs for dh - seriously in pain from infection and injection - and had to wait in big queue to pay next to the magazines so had a quick read! Agree with the others but it does give people a starting point and it does mention MSE so if anyone is wanting to look further they can and it is £200 in MGs funds.

  • Greenbee - wow, sending you super strong vibes for taking the test in the morning. Do update us asap if you can face it. But ooooh a very very faint line.......<tries to keep a lid on excitement>

It might have been a dodgy test but I have to find out as the hospital appointment will have to be cancelled if I am... Seriously stressed about it, so having an early night with a trashy novel (which I can then add to the box(es) I'm getting ready to send to hex to clutter up he house instead of mine...:p
  • DS1 is off to bed - he has sat and watched children in need ........................ all he wants to know is how he can help those kids.

I'm so proud of my young man - we are skinter than a skinty thing. yet he still sees us as "rich" as he has a warm, clean bed, breakfast in the morning and his little brother is a healthy, fun-loving rascal.

If you are ordering one from the universe greenbee can I suggest you ask for one from his batch:) You could do a lot worse hon.

GB, hope it goes the way you want it to lovey.

MG, got the mag. Your boys are soooo like you!

Well had a great day today. Got my t'internet sorted and my landline in first thing and then finished making the house a home. Went to Matalan this afternoon and bought cushions and throws to cover the grubby old couch. Place is looking really cheerful now. It had too many colours through it to ever look minimalist, so I have decide just to embrace colour and keep it bright.

Had a wee look down the street later and found some fabby Chinese and Indian supermarkets. Im ECTASTIC about this as it means I can get cooking and cheaply. Also found a good few charity shops nearby. Now I know you lot love them but usually I'm not a fan. However its getting to the time of year when it's time to acquire a faux fur for swanning about in and I like to get them cheap! Id love a full Bet Lynch leopard number so I'll get a lookout next time Im home!
I have been in Manchester, York and Newcastle over the last four weeks and Im off to London on Monday for a week. After that it looks like it will be time to recruit and train my team ready for the store opening early in December. Getting fed up of the same old food after 4 weeks on a set menu in the same hotel chain and cant wait to cook for myslef. Grateful to have it all paid for but getting a bit samey!

Children in Need on here too. Heartbreaking X

*Crosses fingers quietly behind back for greenbee*

*Coughs loudly and changes subject subtly* So that decluttering and decorating, greenbee...how's it going?!

Clairwop: know what you mean about a pyjama day...I didn't get dressed until a very  hour.

MG: Saw your article. Very nice, but thought it was a cheek they gave the other woman more space when she saved less money! They're not very :money: are they, that lot?! ;)

And ladies, I am delighted: I need to get a smartphone for work (and I just need a new phone in general as I am with the network that has never had sex and I don't get any reception as a result - my phones just goes to answerphone, and only lets me know it has messages for me to know when it feels like it.) I have been VERY lucky to get an amazing deal of a top phone, all the calls and data I can eat and insurance for £30/month so I am DELIGHTED as I have managed to get an amazing deal. :D This will save me a fortune over the length of the contract. :j

*Points to sky* Look, greenbee...a flying pig!

MG - can't you just stand on something secure while you apply the brute force?

I assume most of you lot live in my village, as there is not a single copy of the mag to be had in either shop :( this means I will need to go shopping.... So I'm going to gather up my dry cleaning and drop it off, and then I have to go and get a pregnancy test too... I randomly decided to do one today and it was inconclusive (as a result I was lectured by the GP who was dealing with my eye infection - yes, I have one, so I'm glad I ignored the pharmacist - on the dangers of drinking so much water). And I have to know by wednesday to give me time to cancel my hospital visit. So keep your fingers crossed for me.... The chances are very slim (we're not supposed to be trying until after the hospital stuff is sorted), after all, that's why I'm having treatment, but there was a very, very faint blue line there...

Greenbee - you will get the answer that is necessary to you right now. You are what you want to be, xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

Well I'm up early - and wondering if greenbee is??. Mind you I feel a bit cheeky thinking you would even think about coming on here quickly with your news ............... but I still hope whatever the news it is the right news for you today.

Fantasia - you are welcome to pop over any time -kettle is always on.

Souk - when things have calmed down work wise, remember you are just a quick train ride away now .... and that I am a couple of weeks away from a finished home so you are welcome to visit too.

Now I have promised my Mum to go and help my Dad hang a plasterboard ceiling this morning in her kitchen (not cos I particularly want to help do it but she has sore shoulders and it would really hurt her to do - so off I go).

Off to feed the boys and find out where Pudseys total is sitting.

ETA £26.3 million - 8 million more than last year at this time. You know even when the chips are down there are still reasons I love living in this country. DS1 will be so very pleased.
