I can sleep through ANYTHING - except DH's snoring. And earplugs don't help because he makes the whole bed shake. NOT the way I want the earth to move!

So am v v tired today
It doesn't matter if you are a glass half full or half empty sort of person. Keep it topped up! Cheers!

Sounds like you need separate houses maryb as separate rooms probably wouldn't solve that problem! Can you make him sleep in the shed or would that wake the neighbours :p

Cold here this morning, so am working from the sofa wrapped in a blanket. House is a tip as i've been tired this week, and OH is being grumpy and uncommunicative and driving me nuts. GP appointment this afternoon as my eyelid is inflamed... Pharmacist told me to see whether it went away... GP is NOt happy about that advice...

Hopefully I'll be feeling more positive and productive later on, as I need to make inroads into the vast amount of cleaning and tidying that is waiting to be done. Oh... And do some work (I need to find some flaws in the contract I'm reading and I can't...)

Reached the :eek: point with my walls. So threw in the screwdriver and came down for a cup of coffee instead.

I will head back up to do battle in a moment. A real stubborn part of me wants these walls up before Dad arrives tomorrow just to go Nah! Nah! Nah!! :rotfl:

I know - I should really grow up

We want more pictures of the building work please :)
  • Hey there Matrix, it has been fab catching up this lunch break. I didn't post my ta da list on Wednesday when I had the day at home. The reason being... there wasn't one! I spent a lovely day snuggling on the sofa, reading, knitting and snuggling with my huge cat who decided he loved Mummy and was not letting her get up to do anything. Who was I to argue! Came back to work yesterday feeling MUCH better, and have started the dreaded Christmas Shopping.

2 lots of stuff ordered from different online stores, all in special offers and at lovely, lovely discount prices. Some being delivered to hubby's work, some being delivered to our home... spoke to hubby about it all and we have decided we are going to attack the rest of the Christmas list tomorrow and finish the shopping. I have a list, and I shall not deviate in any way from it. So then we just need to wrap the pressies, write the Christmas Cards, post them, and then plan to do the Santa Runs!! :) I don't think I have ever been more organised. I even know what we are going to eat on Christmas day! :)

And for the first time in YEARS, I actually feel festive. And before it is Advent as well. I cannot remember the last time it happened!! :D

Right... back to work for me. Have a wonderful weekend all of you.

Okay, off to draw some mortgage trees and kick-start my enthusiasm.

Keep going with those walls, I'd offer to help but it'd be a cold swim and long walk to get to you - brrrrr :rotfl:.

I know that if cc's vary their terms there are certain times when you don't have to accept the changes......but I don't know all the details, nor whether that would be relevant to your off-set account.......
