Stand by your beds ...................... got a "husband" coming in tonight to check my door alignments for the bedroom walls.

If all goes to plan I shall be screwing together the walls in the morning - Yay!!!!!

I do believe this will actually be happening.

Mama MG's birtday today and we picked up DS1 from school together to go out for a coffee and a cake. Was in the playground when the Office Manager came scooting past - "OH! Mr Trainee Teacher would like a quick word about DS1's packed lunches!!" and off to her car

Turns out what he actually wanted was a copy of a recipe LOL

Been a busy old day using pen drives again :jand head has agreed school will buy me and SENCo secure external hard drives for all our stuff since I've just had such a hassle and then her laptop died and ate 4 hours of work last night. Have also set up an online thingy for saving unconfidential stuff on like policies and letters that I need to do regularly and stop me re-inventing them every year.

Have planned a big art morning for tomorrow so going in in my scruffs so I don't get covered - am supposed to be doing writing about different fantasy settings so going to get kids looking at Terry Pratchett and Lord of the Rings illustrations and then do HUGE group ones with paint and pastels and collage to get them a bit more inspired - then we can get down to some decent describing.:T

Maybe you should get DS1 to tell everyone that he gets his recipes from the blog(he doesn't have to admit that it's anything to do with him). He can put up his recipes as he makes his lunches :D

I'm trying to think how I can tempt MG down to visit as I need to take apart a bookcase my dad built me for my 10the birthday and use it to make a built-in bookcase on the wall round the window of the spare room. I'm not good at woodwork, and as you can't get piranha pine anymore I have to get it right. I guess it'll be my equivalent of MG's £10 sofa challenge. But first I need to sort out my curtain poles. They are down, but need sanding and painting - a lime wash effect with the wall colour rather than solid paint - so I can out them and the curtains back up which will make things a bit cosier.

Freezers are all still full to bursting, so I must stop shopping and start eating the stuff... Veal casserole and veg tonight. Which means lots of veal to go in the freezer somehow... Better get stuff out for tomorrow's lunch and supper...
