FW - You are channelling your "inner editor" again love:rotfl::rotfl:

So you know how we dn't do coincidences??? Well was in a charity shop buying a vintage brooch for Mama MG's birthday tomorrow - BTW she is just about to be conceived if yesterdays conversation is still being carried on :rotfl:

So lovely lady asked if her pooch could come into charity shop - to which I replied that "only husbands need to be kept outside, kids and pets welcome in here" - which got the lady who runs the shop roaring with laughter.

Turns out lady with the rescuued Pomeranian is a magazine editor - so Charity shop lady shows her the article and well, long story short, we are meeting on Friday so see if we can build a "strategic alliance"

............. which I think means something advantageous to us both.

    Woop!!!!

I think that you should follow your instinct MG, if it doesnt sit comfortably with you then it might not with others. They are good sales people so of course they will have a good, considered response. Stick to your principles and you will do well.

    Which magazine was it again?

:( Pencil case and pen drives still AWOL despite a good think last night and narrowing them down to either my classroom or the head's office :( He was in Monday morning so am hoping I left it in his room and it has got scooped up into a carrier bag with all his other gubbins (the way he usually clears his desk) Other than that it has fallen out of my bag on the way to the car but unlikely as the car park gates are locked by the caretaker who is also the first person in on a morning, or we have strange thieves who break into a car without any damage just to pinch a pencil case with three pen drives in. As dh keeps saying 'it must be somewhere' in that helpful way of his - have so far resisted saying something very rude to him in reply.

Apart from that life today is good.

Right - stopped looking and went to bed but failed to sleep cos was still fretting about missing pencil case - gave up pretending to sleep, came downstairs to do some late night stitching to calm nerves and there it was, in my stitching bag - my missing pencil case with pen drives. :jAm now able to eat, sleep, breathe again safe in the knowledge that our school secrets are not going to appear in the local papers tomorrow and cos I don't have to re-invent 5 years worth of work. I have no idea why it was in there???????? can only think it was on top of my school stuff when I went to church stitchy club on Friday night so I put it in stitching bag to keep it safe - which I suppose since it's taken nearly 5 days to find shows you how safe my stitching bag is:eek::p:o

Thanks for all the positive vibes in the meantime - it is going to be carried in my never used until now briefcase from now on and I will double triple check my password protections.

    Excellent news Dora!

Would suggest backing them all up to another usb stick but you will probably throw the stitching bag at me. Besides that is the sort of excellent advice I never follow myself.

Great news Dora - would be my nightmare to lose my back-ups (especially as I have a decidedly dodgy laptop)

I hear boys - time for coffee.

    Back soon
