Difficult - you are just starting out and it might turn off new readers, which is what you need more than anything. You could state all your reservations in the first post you make after linking but that will then slip down the list of posts and not be read. Unless you were to put it in a resources section where you could put it along with the charities and this site with an appropriate health warningIt doesn't matter if you are a glass half full or half empty sort of person. Keep it topped up! Cheers!0

MG - could you not say to your dad that if he wants a bed, he can come over and help out beforehand?0

MG: I can understand your concerns about the link. I would say go with your gut feeling - if it doesn't sit right with you , then it's not right for you, no matter how well considered the reply.
After all, you have seen for yourself the damage these companies can do and don't forget they are very well trained to sell their products.Debt at start of DMP 1/6/09: £2942 - £1942

Surely they should send you a free copy of the magazine given that you are published in it? If you are writing for them again, tell them it's on your rider!
I wouldn't provide a click-through link, but I would make it clear the person was from whichever company, partially as a warning, and the person can look them up if they want to.0 -
Just checked my email and they are sending me a copy - but by post it could take a few days. I know what you lot are like and you will be out buying a copy just to see what your "nephews" look like:rotfl:
I wanted to check I don't have and spinach in my teeth :rotfl:
I don't - and TBH if I read the article and didn't know me I wouldn't recognise me IYSWIM. But hey ho!!! will pay off 0.16% of the mortgage

Spent a morning catching up - off work have been quite ill. I am hoping this is the tail end of it now did think I would be back in work today but have decided to heed advice and not return until fully fit - think this has been the problem over last few weeks. Came to this decision after phone conversation yesterday with very unsympathetic boss - who takes time off at the drop of a hat. Trip to osteopath this evening to work on an unrelated complaint but I hope she will release some of the tension I am holding in neck and shoulders - I am no good at being ill
ETA: MG have instructed OH to buy mag on way home tonightBe the change you want to see -with apologies to Gandhi

Hi all
If someone comments on a blog and includes a link to their site, what I do is look at their comment (on wordpress I can look at comments before they are a published and I choose whether or not I will publish them), if they are pushing a business that I don't really want to connect with then I will edit the comment removing the link to their site, that way I get a nice comment without the sales pitch:D
The course wasnt too bad yesterday, a bit basic but I did discover that it also includes food safety, I may well just do a food hygiene certificate as well (well these courses are free for the unemployed) and that way I have got it even if I don't use it myself. There is one guy on the course who cannot speak English that well and all he does is sit there and sniff snotty sniffs:eek: The building isnt very nice and has an odd smell about it.
Still I got chatted up on the bus on the way home by the bus driver (this is someone I went out with when I was 18 - we broke up when I was 20), he is married with 3 kids (pretty much all grown up now). I know he fancies his chances with me but it will never happen, he had his chance and blew it. He keeps asking why I never had kids - I do not have the heart to tell him that the man I would have had kids with married someone who used to be my best friend (true and that man is him so rather than cause anguish I keep my thoughts to myself).
Helen - there is a hedge laying group (https://www.hedgelaying.org.uk) so you could even learn to lay the hedge yourself or offer your hedges to professionals.
My gift basket won in prize draw should be arriving today (or tomorrow) and I have been asked to enter again because it is drawn on 1st December - https://www.shoples.co.uk - so why not have a go ladies:D
Need to read back and catch up - then it will be time for lunch and then time to get the bus.
BTW I did buy a bargainous box of biccies yesterday for £2.50, they were half price and have an eat by date of 30 June 2012:D In fact I got two boxes one for me and one for the raffle at the business club tonight. Forgot to put slow cooker on yesterday so ended up having egg n chips for tea (oven chips not chippy chips).
Just received my draw prize from Shoples (https://www.shoples.co.uk) - it was extremely well packed and contained a bag of soap gems (mini soaps), a handmade bar of soap that smells of the sea, a pink heart shaped bath fizzer and a bag of blue sea scented bath salts all presented in a wicker basket. Just think you could win one, all soaps handmade with quality ingredients, essential oils and glycerine.0 -
Well with all my juggling around with walls I am left with space 1.5m x 1.5m to fit in a shower-room. It looks teeny and I was pretty worried and was thinking I had made a horrendous mistake.
Found these guys: and I have a plan now of how to fit shower, loo and sink in perfectly.:money:(smiley from DS2 BTW)

Not that I have the money to spend on a bathroom right now - but at least if the room is formed I am one step closer - right?
